A group of Non Governmental Organization s stakeholders led by their national treasurer Haggai Kadiri have resisted the recent appointment of Joshua Leparashau to head the NGOs Co-ordination board.

Kadiri says that should the appointment not be revoked then they will seek legal addressee adding that even the parent Ministry of Heritage and Culture had disapproved the appointment.

“Even the Minister in charge William ole Ntimama is unhappy with the President for disregarding names he was forwarded to for the appointment of the same” he added.

Our investigations reveals that Ntimama is said to have forwarded the name of Mr.Ambrose Rachier but the Office of the President reportedly rejected the nominee asking for someone with expertise in NGO management.

The ministry then forwarded the name of Dr.Hezrone McObewa of Ogra Foundation but the President settled on Leparashau.

“We want the President to review the appointment and give the secctor a competent and knowledgeable Chairman or we move to court” they added.
