LAND GRABBERS RAISING 5M

HALLOW COMRADES

Lets be serous for once. I fully support Mau evictions. At the current rate of birth, what do you think Mau would look like? There would be no water, even in the Mau itself, let alone the nation Kenya. Hey guys, lets put Politics out of this serious issue.

If campaigns against Raila in any of the 42 ethnic constituencies would be based on the Mau issue, then my vote is just waiting to be counted for Raila.

Remember these same thugs making a lot of noise are the very same ones who own land equivalent of NYANZA province. Why cant they surrender some of their grabbed land to the squatters across the country instead of contributing 500,000.00 ksh which is worth a ¼ acre in ISIOLO?

The money lost in the passat deal could have been used to resettle the Mau Squatters. Hey guys lets look at the bigger picture!

SINCE THEY DID NOT BUY THE HUGE TRACTS OF LAND THEY OWN, THEY SHOULD BE FORCED TO DONATE IT TO THE SQUATTERS! GUESS WHO?

Caleb, your heading says it all-landgrabbers raise 5 million.

What a bunch of hypocrites. What fools do they take us for? History cannot be rewritten, we know this trio well.

The irony was when Balala introduced that line up as ‘the future of kenya,’.. quite on the contrary. They are our past, a very dark one for that matter.

That new alliance is kanu proper, only with the new entrant, the founders son, one Uhuru Kenyatta…a man who has benefited from all the injustice in this country.

I hope they dont think for even a minute that we will be lining up to follow them.

Never worry agwambo, you continue to earn my admiration. These people were only, as Karua put it, éxcess baggage’. Good riddance!

There we go! Kenyans are alert to the core. We cannot keep on massaging these characters. They belong to the past and one should just ask them all to settle the Mau Evictees in their “illegally acquired large farms” before fundraising to hoodwink Kenyans.

We must always have our eyes on the ball, not side shows. We move on as Kenyans, united by principles and values.

MAU EVICTIONS ORDERED BY THE CABINET

If the evictions were ordered by the cabinet then why is Raila Amolo Odinga being blamed? Is the Prime Minister conserving the water bed for his personal benefit?

To tell us that Mwai Kibaki telephoned Uhuru Kenyatta not to attend the fund raising for the people evicted from Mau Forest is to say the least the acme of absurdness. If he objected to the fund raising then why did his son Jimmy send the Ksh. 100,000 as a donation to the fund raising?

At Independence, Raila’s father, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga objected single handedly to the grabbing of land by Jomo Kenyatta but the latter in a knee jerk reaction changed the constitution, thus making himself above the law, calling Jaramogi Oginga Odinga ”a communist who calls communism food and who likes free things”. No sooner did he do this than he settled specifically his tribesmen in the Rift Valley and Coast provinces, hence the PEV 45 years later.

Now Uhuru Kenyatta is doing a repeat with ignorant Kenyans. Looking at the ”who is who” who attended the fund raising I can without being contradicted say that Moi is back full time with his impunity and terror. The group is comprised of the same people who for twenty four years sang KANU NI MAMA NA BABA, the likes of Kalonzo Musyoka, Mutula Kilonzo, William Ruto to mention but a few.

Let all Kenyans wake up and make the changes we wish for. Let nobody be hoodwinked by this group into falling into a trap of these land grabbers.

It is strange that the intelligent minister William Ruto has a very short memory even though Mt. Kenya not only stole their Rift Valley land, but also shamelessly stole their presidential elections of 2007, only a few months after Uhuru Kenyatta declared to his people at Mau Summit that ”he was going to be in the next government”-rigging the elections in advance.

    Dr. Odida,

I am watching all these in such an amazement! really, have you realized that you, ( The Wajaluo ) are the only ones going berserk over attacks on Raila?

If Raila was wise, he would have first, come up with the plans of relocating the Mau residents, finding the place for them to go, as soon as they leave Mau.

To cry and scream is not going to make people who have made up their minds to oppose the PM. to like him.

What is clear is this; Raila has thrown out to the Mau roadside, the poor residents of Mau, who are members of one tribe, KALENJIN TRIBE! Further more he has called their plight a, ” Crocodile Tear ” show! The PM has even gone as far as to scuddle an attempt to help those people,by asking the president to ban the fundraising event.

Dr. Odida, to a simple person, no words can herald more about the callousness, and real nature and heartlessness of Mr. Odinga. The people see him as someone who has no care on Earth of the welfare of those Mau evictees. But what is evident is that he cares more about the donor funds than the Kenyan’s lives!

The PM is not listening to the people’s plight, and there is nothing as grave as the welfare of the people. You can tamper with anything, but people’s lives. Issues such as climate are remote and stuff that are incomprehensible, to an homeless hungry person.

Had the same exercise been carried out in a proper manner and in honesty, no one would have queried.

Unfortunately, Raila is seeking approval in Copenhagen! and he has forgotten that he is the PM of Kenyans. The Kenyans, who include those Mau evictees.

We are not fighting Mau Evictions, we are saying throwing people onto the roadside is not reasonable! Why does the PM not find a place for those people to go, why? why is he blocking others who want to help?

This is the issue Bwana Daktari. Raila has himself to blame. Kibaki is silent yet he is the President, why? Raila should have known!

On the issue of Moi, I can not say much, other than to wonder when are people going to own up to their own mistakes. For God’s sake, the Guy left over 7 years ago. But you can not leave him out! he has not even uttered a word, yet you lump all Raila’s failures on him! how convenient!

I do not defend him, what I am saying is this, Raial’s problems are his own making. No one else is to blame.

Having said all these words, you Luo guys must not isolate Raila by fighting every one who disagrees with him. He is the PM. of all Kenyans. Why are you Luolizing him?

Know this, Luos alone and his friends will not be able to elect Raila, the Leader of Kenya, in 2012 elections. You need my vote too. Please do not throw it out into the waste.

    Tekere Jelule,

You are reducing a serious national issue to tribe; Jaluo.

For your information. how do you ascertain that Dr Odida, Julie Chege, Steve Musau and maybe, Odhiambo T Oketch are Luos?

Your perception kills all the moral posturing that you pass across.

Mau is a Kenyan affair and all of us are concerned.

    Friends,

l am lamenting about the terrible, bad advise that people are giving Mr. Raila Odinga. It is not me who is saying all these things, it is what the people in the streets are telling me.

I write the things that your PM is not told-real issues that matter in the street!

Do you really believe Mr. Sirma or all the following supporters of Raila are telling him the truth?

I voted for Raila, and backed my actions, even by giving him $ 1000.00 Dollars. But right now he is heading into an abyss! Talking of sacrificing his career for Mau is silly and utterly stupid!. Is the whole other things that the PM, would do for Kenya, not worth considering?.

I do not want Kenya to loose the opportunity to change, because the man, whom all the people, went as far as close to destroying Kenya for, because they wanted so badly to bring change to our nation-having laid all their hopes and aspirations on him. Raila now seems to say all that, were not worth!.

Mau needs to be saved, we all agreed, but equally important as well is taking care of Kenyans who were are now asked to leave Mau. Why is it not palatable to find a place for those people?

Try this, find a place for those people to go to. Then wait and see if we shall utter a worth! or if we, ( The Kalenjin ) shall have any quarrel with your PM.
We are objecting to arrogant manner in which we are treated!

Mr. Odhiambo T. Oketch, I lived in Luo land, all my friends are Luos, we even have in laws, who are Luos. I there fore can ascertain who are Luos and who are not.

We are dumbfounded, that Raila is destroying the best chance that he ever had, to lead Kenya, by blindly following, the cause that is causing such immense pain to many citizens.

I can abrogate all this protesting and go along, with Raila, and all the Luo followers. Will my only vote enable Raila to win, when he is alienating himself from all the voting Kalenjin Pepole?

Understand my main complain. The protests from the members of Raila clan are not going to make the difference or quell the anger!.

For instance, the protest letter from the Nyanza Bishops. It will not cut. Raila himself put himself out there and he stated that he pegs his career on Mau! Am I not right? Those protests do not count. It will be seen by all those who are facing homelessness as the support from the PM’s home boys! Look at it, and ask yourself, why is there no statement from all of Kenya’s Churches!

It is in this respect that I am saying, someone must admonish the PM. to listen, and put people first. If you were listening to Dr. Abonyo, we would not be in situation where we are staring defeat of Raila, as a result of his own actions.

Remember by how much we lost, the 2007 election! only a foolish mind shall ignore those facts. I use, ( WE ) since I voted for the PM. too. I do not want a repeat of another lose, come 2012.

I can however see the repeat, unless, Raila wakes up from slumber and pays attention to people’s cry, I listen to cries of the People.

Greatness, comes only from serving the people, not trees! Learn from Evita Peron of Argentina, or Alfred the Great. And yesterday, mother Theresa. People-poor citizens are precious!, and never trees!

    To All,
For some of you to imply that its the Luos coming to the aid of their kin is to miss the point. Some of us connect with Raila, even though we are in Eastern, and we voted Mzee[Raila] one to one, and we are yet to achieve our dream for the big seat.

If only some of you can check with the ordinary mwananchi on the ground on the betrayal by Kalenjin ministers who have gone against their leader to make a mockery of him on tv and newspapers daily, some of the comments from a few of you will be irrelevant.

Who will not like Raila to appear bad to kenyans-kibaki, kalonzo, njirogo, moi and his bootlicking [mboys]. the list is endless. Just because we voted somebody does not guarantee that the leader will favour you when on the wrong. The same fellows would still have lynched him if he failed to start clearing the forest, saying that Raila does not have the guts to touch Mau, because of 2012 votes. Who is better- a father who disciplines you when on the wrong ,or the sweet talking one.

Majority of mps came back to parliament through Railas word, otherwise majority had been discarded by moi and thrown in the Recycle bin.For Balala to coin words like [this table reflects the future]are steps in futility. We dont think he has the capacity to be a kingmaker. And then mutula kilonzo of moi and kalonzo.

You attend the fundraiser and issue speeches as you sample the vitriols then later on you realise that a motion of no confidence cannot work on the coalition govt and also any motion made to chuck the prime minister cannot garner the majority no matter when. What a contradition?.
Raila will pass through this baptism unscathed.

  8. Musonik Kipkenya

Where is this Tekere Jelule, he should now come out so that we hand hime over to Mr. Mzalendo Kibunja. he and all those he represents are giving Kalenjins a good name. LET THOSE WHO WANT TO YUMBA YUMBA, YUMBA as individuals without dragging the nmes of whole communities in their dirty schemes.

We have now seen the land grabbers attempting to derail the good work of CoEs for fear of loosing ill gotten land. A common man like me was not there with them when they were grabbing and I would not joining them in crying wolf.

  9. Musa Okello

I am a Ugandan Luo(Japadhola) and I am amazed at the way Kenyans have become blind to environmental issues and chosen to simplify them into tribal issues. It is true that people more precious than trees especially if you are a politician who is just looking for some cheap popularity. Kenyans need to be reminded of all the bad effects of environmental degradation as a result of human activity. One example is the diappearance of lake Chad. another one is your own once beautiful lake Nakuru and how the Flamingos are now migrating because the lake is contaminated by sewage. In Uganda people shed blood to save the Mabira forest, let those rich kenyan farmers be forced to surrender some of the land for resettlement of the landless people, the people need the trees just as much as the politicians need the votes.
