PRESS STATEMENT.
AS Members of the Nyanza Council of Church Leaders our attention has been drawn to utterances made in a section of the press by Bishop Dr. David Owuor. We would therefore like to take this early opportunity in condemning the Church Leader for leveling Church Leaders in Kenya as corrupt and untrustworthy.
Owuor should be rebuffed for his smear campaign against the church all over the world. His actions in fact border on blasphemy since Biblical doctrines are clear that a prophet does not fight the other.It is sad that Owuor has waged a propaganda war against Church leaders in Kenya and the world over. His main reason is that Church Leaders in Kenya receive from the flock.
The Bible is very clear on giving to the Lord and tithing. Our best example is the woman who gave a mite against people who gave a lot of money. Jesus showered the woman with praises since she gave her last penny to the Lord. Mark 12:14, Malachi 3:10 – 12, I Corinthians 9: 6 – 7. Any Cleric or Church Minister who is fighting against giving is fighting God, and he is not of God. The Bible says, “If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book, And if any man shall take away the words of this prophecy God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the Holy City”. Revelation 22: 18 – 19.
It is also very clear from the Bible that a house divided cannot stand on its own. Great Evangelists such as Nicholas Bengo of South Africa who started preaching in the 1950s never waged a war against fellow evangelists. Others such as TL Osborn, Reinhard Bonnke, and Benson Idahosa, and Morris Cerulo, Oral Roberts and re known evangelist Benny Hinn have larger crowd than self proclaimed Prophet David Edward Owuor. They did not chastise fellow Evangelists.
Bishop Owuor, we are aware, receives money secretly since he cannot single-handedly sponsor a crusade of such magnitude alone. This we say is so since he does not get manna from Heaven for his huge meetings.
We assert as members of the Interdenominational Churches representing over 270 Bishops that Owuor has been sent by Powerful Evil forces to bring the church down but he should know that Jesus Christ said He will build His Church and the gate of hell shall not prevail against it.
It would have been wiser if he spent his fortune in combating the house of Satan and not the church. And no wonder for Satan himself transform himself into an Angel of light therefore he not a great things if His ministers also transform themselves into Ministers of righteousness who evil will be according to their works. II Corinthians 11: 14 – 15. Mark 3: 24 says that if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom can not stand.
We beseech Owuor to apologize to the entire church all over the world and particularly in Kenya where he unleashed his tirade against the clergy. Many people have died mysteriously during crusades organized by Owuor.
Other Evangelists in the country have held crusades in many parts of the country where millions have attended but people have never died.
When Owuor started his ministry, he said he was not going to establish a Church and now he has a Church called Repentance and Holiness with branches all over the country against his first vow, meaning that he was lying to Christians.Owuor should look for members in a more honest way instead of engaging in blackmail and speaking ill of Bishops who have worked hard to get people who are now attending his meetings.
He should praise church ministers in Kenya for the great work that they have done for many years.
It is not true that Church Leaders in the country have failed to give direction on the reform agenda. Out stand had been steadfast that Kenyans need a new constitution according to agenda four of the National accord before the next General Election.

It is very clear that Dr. Owuor was not against people giving to the church as the Bishops are making it sound. When you take a scope at most of the Churches in Nyanza, you find a very common trend: very wealthy leader and 90% of almost poverty stricken followers.
Churches (Pastors) are not training their followers on ways of investing but instead, the main sermons are based on the biblical teaching of ‘give and it shall be given to you’. Giving is not wrong, but churches should start implementing projects that not only benefit their friends and family but their followers as well.
The corruption in the church that Dr. Owuor is talking about is that which Christ spoke about when He walked into the temple and found that it had been turned into a ‘den of robbers’.
Most churches today are a reflection of this, where leaders have turned tithes into personal fortunes.
Nyanza is dying and if the church is only involved in spiritual growth and leaving the economic growth of members to politicians – who have failed anyway, then like Ezekiel said, the watchman is sleeping on the job.

How much did Moi give you and for what? How much was used in the Church and how much did you keep?
Can you explain your diffrence with Rev> Silas Owiti, if it is not Money?

The church in Kenya is the most corrupt body after the police force.
Ogonyo Ngede, can you tell us where the money you raised in the US for the purpose of establishing the ever since defunct Kisumu University?
During the campaign for the multi-party pluralism system in Kenya, you quickly jumped onto the bandwagon of the retired President Daniel Arap Moi, and launched the amorphous Nyanza Church and State Cooperation. You and Bishop Mathews Ajuoga almost became household names at Nakuru State House and Kabarak home of the retired head of state. Were these activities part of the Christian teachings?
And after Moi lost power, you have since became glued to the side of the Prime minister Raila. Aren’t these actions parts of the gospel or opportunism?
Please leave Dr. David Owuor alone. His criticism of the church in Kenya was well placed and timely. He has the blessings of millions of Kenyans who know people like yourselves well.

With all the due respect to church leaders and people of God, I would like to emphasize that the warning by Prophet Owuor should be heeded and corrective measures taken, instead of people of God trying to whitewash themselves by issuing press statements.
That the old Devil respects nobody and no institution, is not in dispute, and we have seen signs that the Devil is attacking churches. All the vices we see in Kenya, from tribalism, corruption, impunity e.t.c are a reflection of what happens in our churches. That is the main reason church leaders cannot dare warn wayward politicians.
It is a high time church leaders knew that all human beings, including them, are prone to temptations, and should not lead themselves to temptations. Nobody is too holy to succumb to temptations of the evil, and the church leaders should do the following in response to ‘Prophet’ Owuor’s ‘attack’:
1) Search their souls and rededicate themselves, religious adherents and all Kenyans to God;
2) Institute proper checks and balances over receipts and applications church resources;
3)Seek God’s guidance in applications of church resources (for social investments -education, health, food security etc) and in being good stewards;
4)Avoid the race to quick riches and personal aggrandizement; and
5)Take critisisms positively as they appraise themselves
A old man gets pinched when dry bones are mentioned, so unto these greedy church leaders.The truth has to be said, however bitter it is.
I have read a lot about bishop David Owuor and I thank him for being brave enough to speak nothing but the truth about activities in the churches. What did Jesus say in Mathew chapter 24? You will see a lot of signs like famine, wars and most of them all, false prophets.
I read in one of Daily Nation papers that in Kenya there are more than 50000 churches. Why/ If not for monetary gain then for what purpose?
Tithes, as we read in Leviticus chapter 6 about grain and animal are offerings to God. Even in Malachi chapter 3, which is quoted by most churches, tithe is for God. You can make offering to God in many ways. I have learnt a lot about offering and tithing for the 6yrs I have been in Britain. Church of England is a very big charity organisation with enormous wealth, accumulated over many years, and they use it to pay staff, and help the poor all over the world, through their missionaries.
Whatever is contributed in church should be used in helping the poor and not to make church leaders lead a luxurious life. It is not meant for a bishop to drive a good car, own a good house etc. at the expense of his flock.
In 2008, a bishop in America was Charged for embezzling $38million belonging to church. Do you know what he said? That as the head of the church, he must lead a good life.
Here in Britain, Churches fall under Charity Commission, and they are audited from time to time. Anyway, Jesus said that “not everybody who calls me Lord will see the kingdom of God”. May God bless the righteous.

Bishop David Owuor is an eye opener to those who need spiritual healing. It took me time to learn how to apply prayers in daily life.
Call it tithe or offering, as we read in old testament, God directed priests what to do with them. To turn them for our own use, and to condemn those who dont give as being disobedient to God is blasphemy.
Government taxes people and uses the money to give services to people. Likewise , apart from the church leaders caring for themselves, they should help the poor in their congregation.
Gilbert Deya ministry is really helping the needy worldwide through prayers on line on Tv channels. The money he gets is put into good use and he has been really commended by charity commission of England and Wales.
Jesus came to heal the sick and cast out demons ( mathew chapter 10) Any church leader who does not do the same is incomplete. When I received the holy spirit to heal the sick and cast out demons in july 2008, I have prayed to 44 people in Kenya online from London and all got healed in Jesus name. I have not asked even for a shilling. Jesus told his disciples not to ask for reward because they were given free.
I had pity on a woman whom I read in daily nation, who spent shs. 180,000 on pastors for prayer, for her sickness, and she never got healed. God forbid. What spirit are they using?
David Owuor, I am with you and when I come to Kenya people will see free glory of God without paying for it. God have mercy on your people who are held in captivity.
Church leaders after wealth accumulation and personal interests cannot nourish the nation spiritually, cannot rebuke against unGodliness, cannot preach against oppression and suppression. In short, they cannot play their roles. No wonder the Kenyan society is sick, because of misplaced priority by church leaders.
Move on Evengelist Owuor, and warn us against the ‘love of money’. Remind us of the need to repent brother, and tell the church leaders not to demean the course of God. They have scandalized Christianity for long. Let them not call the name of GOD in vain, in an attempt to continue with the vice of robbing God and fellow men.
There is an American Christian Organization called “The Fellowship” aka “The FAMILY” which is deeply involved in writing laws by which African governments must be run. This organization has been very influential in the formulation of the laws governing many African countries, particularly, the governments of Uganda and Rwanda, whose heads of states are controlled/influenced by this organization.
We all know that the governments of Rwanda and Uganda are now part of the East African Community, that means, The FAMILY organization may be involved in writing the laws governing Kenya, Tanzania and Burundi which are current members of EAC.
Knowing the role that Rwanda and Uganda have played in the silent genocide that has displaced and killed about 5.4 million Africans in the CONGO, one must wonder what is in store for the fractured government of Kenya! These people, “the Family” are very good at exploiting chaotic situations to their benefit! It was said in the bible: “beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing”!
In Africa, poverty has sent millions of hungry Africans to street corner preaching, while the natural resources, including land, is being grabbed by the African elites and their foreign “Christian” organizations promoters. These African elites are incapable of helping develop Africa. Instead, they are amassing military equipments for the sole purpose of suppressing the citizens whom they have failed to serve. Huge debts are being accumulated in the purchase of these military equipments are shoved on the throats of the very citizens being victimized with impunity!!! African people have to wake up from their slumber!!!

There are numerous wolves in sheep’s whose main aims are to make ordinary poor citizens who are struggling with their daily lives OBEDIENT!
Christian religions introduced by the colonial powers concentrated on telling the colonized subjects that being docile or obedient as well as being poor are virtues that would be rewarded by God after death.
Like many cultures in which locals customs demand that “A WOMAN SHOULD BE SEEN AND NOT HEARD FROM”, the foreign powers always demand that African men and the ruling elites obediently take orders from them. They are required to enforce these orders on their fellow citizens without retorting!
It is, therefore, not difficult to understand why almost all African leaders do not want to be criticized by their citizens, unless the people voicing their opinions are prepared to subject themselves to extrajudicial executions, detentions or disappearances.
The foreign powers are very comfortable with the cordial arrangement they have with these authoritarian regimes. The only time one may find a foreign power condemning an authoritarian regime is
(a) when a regime start complaining about something that foreign power is doing
(b) the guy in power is old. A regime change is them warranted!
RELIGION IS MEANT TO MAKE THE SUBJECT OBEDIENT IN ORDER TO REAP THE REWARDS FOR OBEDIENCE AFTER DEATH. SHOULD ONE DISCOVER THAT THERE IS NO REWARD AFTER ALL THAT OBEDIENCE, IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO COME BACK AND COMPLAIN ABOUT BEING MISLED!
The foreign powers dealing with Africans and other third world people always use Christian Religions to demand submission!
As Christians we should follow Jesus Christ. Not ‘Prophet’ Owuor or any other earthling. The mistake many of us do is to raise some earthlings to semi-deity status, thereby ending up being misled or disappointed.
A messenger of God is judged by the message he delivers. Those whose messages remind us of genuine fellowship with God and one another based on biblical truths are true messengers. But those whose focus is on money, wealth and properties are false prophets.
I don’t see the reason why we should continue arguing about who is the true or false prophet. What I believe is that Jesus Christ will only come for a mature bride, not those who believed in true or false prophets.
Let us read the word of God and ask of the Holy Spirit for guidance not on mare words and instincts of men. We shall be judged by God Himself on what we say and do.
So my brothers in Christ, remember Christ came for the sinners of whom I am one of them 1John1:8-9, Romans 3:23. We MUST stop cheating and justifying ourselves and also stop pretending that we are more holy than our brothers elsewhere or in any other denomination.
Why should we continue believing in men and putting our trust in them? Aren’t we cursed if we do so? Read Hebrews 1:1-1:1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 1:2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds. 1:3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 1:4 having become so much better than the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they have. 1:5 For to which of the angels did he say at any time,
“You are my Son.
Today have I become your father?”*
and again,
“I will be to him a Father,
and he will be to me a Son?”*
Do we really know the God we are serving as servants of God????? And if we do why are we arguing over who is who??

I believe we are of the same faith and of the same God. My worry is your self glorification of Gods manifests to the church.
1st when you come to Kenya, are you coming to help Dr. Owuor prove people wrong or to serve God. Remember in the apostolic age apostles never glorified themselves of what they did. Remember Peter, Paul, Timothy and the rest.
Jesus said many are called but a few are chosen.
Another question, has the 44 people you prayed for confessed and to who did they witness so that you claim you healed them.
Remember its Gods grace to do this and not your own doing. How many blessed prophets do we have worldwide and yet they brag not of the great miracles? What disturbs a lot is that these people who are healed are always from different towns away from the primary towns he holds the meetings.
I’m not criticizing you, but around this mountain we are dwelling for long Deut 3:2 for how long will we loose focus to glorify humans. (cursed are we) God forbid. watch Emmanuel tv (www.emmanueltv.com), read about Robert Kayanja, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, Chris Oyakhilome,. these are just but a few men of God who are 100% gifted and you hear not of their bragging.
Lets change our focus on things, silly mistakes Christians do.
If people are called or they called themselves, its upon God to judge. So work out your faith and salvation, and fight a good fight as Paul says.

Bishop Washington Ngede you should take a good look at your corrupt ways in dealings with your so called ABBA Mining Company and the theft of a Mining concession that belonged to East African Pure Gold and then entering an agreement with African Queen Mines after you received $300,000 USD from them. What is a Minister doing chasing gold does not the bible talk about people like you?
Also what are you doing telling people in America that you raise people from the dead as you go arround begging them to give and give deeply to him through your partner Leonard Suchorbus of Illonis where you set up a non profit organization.
So your statement about Dr. David Owuor is out of line when the truth is that Owuor is right and you are the one that God has talked to David Owuor about.
Let us not be fooled Bishop Ngede you better repent or you will find out what hell is really about.

We as beleivers shouldn’t be confused by the devil but pray more.
What has just taken place is our spiritual fathers rectifying themselves and to us what now remains is that we should rather pray harder and not to take these issues personal. The holy book of GOD (BIBLE) allows us to test the spirits so we rather look at these issues the godly way. If prophet Owuor has a problem with the giving, the bible accelerates us to do so and about tithing, Christ himself in Matthew 23:23 allowed it to proceed but didn’t classify it as a weightier matter which our spiritual fathers do, Now this is where the problem comes from. Above all, the marking scheme for our holy living is Christ Himself so we must turn to GOD and as Christ said, a house divided on its own can’t stand, so prophet Owuor + those bishops should agree to spread the gospel truly and work together for the salvation of all people and not to collect wealth from the flock. So lets just check whatever we have heard from any one if it rhymes with the word of GOD. We shouldn’t play with the enemy because he can use Owuor or those bishops and now it’s you and me to know when as in the case of JESUS and Peter, JESUS tells peter that it was not flesh and blood that revealed to him whom he was but the spirit of GOD but when you go abit down in the same scripture, you find JESUS telling Peter ‘get behind me you satan!’ so JESUS identified two forces under one sitting, at times the evil one can use one if relaxed. Above all, Let our Spiritual fathers speak about JESUS and not their failures, achievements, it’s about CHRIST and nothing to do with us, we are nothing but just forgiven sinners.Let’s preach JESUS to the world for the remmission of sins. Remember that CHRIST loves the church the way it is and if any thing HE IS COMING back for the same Chrch. We better pray for the Church and not divide it for NO ONE CAN WRESTLE WITH CHRIST AND WIN!. Prophet Owuor, preach Christ and the weakness leave to HIM, but turning away the hearts of the beleivers from their long time known Spiritual leaders is not a solution, remember the LORD says’ touch not my annointed one’ and if there is any problem, arrange for a conference for the 5 fold ministers and tell them then the journey will be accomplished. The good plants and the weeds were never uprooted till harvest time, so leave the work to the owner, just preach Christ BUT NOT WEAKNESSES, for Paul said, ‘above all, the gospel be preached’
No there are certainly wrongs in the churches now as it ever was. But prophet Owuor takes extreem measure. His message is hardly good news. How can it be called gospel? He says we cannot even laugh in the church because Jesus was killed. So how is christianity supposed to be good news if we are to fix our attention to the butchery of christ? He calls the radio station an alter yet donnot understand that tears defiles an alter. So he allows people to cry in the alter. All you hear is sadness yet ‘rejoice’ is the command of God. To him, ‘fear of God’ is litterary viewing God as a monster.
Pastor Owuor has lost the way of the gospel. While sin is not tolerable, we do not focus our awareness on sin. Sinning church is not a diseas. It is a symptom of a diseas. The real disease is the cold faith. The cure is not pointing the church to sin over and over again. Rather, help to recover the lost faith. Yes, the gospel is not ‘flee away from sin’ it is ‘come to me you who are burdened’ it is a gentle invitation. No treats a sinner is drawn by the love of God. Not the fear of punnishment. Yes earthquakes etc are unnecessary!
Oh man! Don’t you know that a prophet shall be revealed to prepare the way just before the return of Christ (Mal.4:5). And have you read about the two witnesses in Revelation 11? What if this is the man?
People, I will let no one decive me. The devil is very good at creating divisions and doubts and disagreements….Dr. Owuor is a man of God..He isa prophet of God.
Most Kenyan preachers are not called to preach but to fleece poor Kenyans. This issue of seed planting where is it in the bible? They are greedy people out to make money at the expense of the poor……Dr Owuor tell the the truth
May the Lord keep all those who doubt about the message about the end time message that they may see the majesty of the Lord,expanding and increasing in this ministry and live to be ashamed forever till they realise and repent.let them be aware that they can never fight God.

It would be verry wise for the church to realise we are in the last days prophesied by Peter when false teachers cook up stories of how a ‘sheep’ in his/her church ‘sowed a big seed and reaped a big miracle’.In kenya we’ve watched this on national media.we have seen people giving ‘testimonies’ of how they sowed in the ministry airing the program and reaped a miracle.Are these the stories Peter talks about?The church needs to be very alert.

I think quite possibly in regard to who is right and who is wrong, they are both right and wrong in different areas
I’m not sure that David Owur is a true prophet from the Lord, well I sense in my own spirit an uneasiness about him. But then the matter of wealthy Bishops and other leaders who have accumulated wealth at the expense of your flocks, shame on you, repent before its too late
Additionally the bible says we are to judge angels as such never engage in maligning Christ through heathen electronic media as Owuor is fond of using unchristian TV Stations to malign church leaders.Owuor deceives people that after the rapture no more salvation but Revelation 9: 7 talks of a multitude that no man could number having passed through the tribulation which is after the the body of Christ has been caught up to heaven.This self proclaimed prophet of doom says immediate healing is unbiblical yet the book of mark talks of people healed IMMEDIATELY they received a touch from the creator. To owuor instant healing like witnessed in the likes of Benny Hinn Crusades are false ,what a tragedy and this man has a massed so many Followers literally.

It is incomplete. Must a man be treatened to do the RIGHT THING? Jesus too encountered a similar scenario. Appostle John once asked if Jesus would sent a fire upon the Samaritans for doing the wrong thing but Jesus rebuked him and said, ‘the son of man came not to take away life but to save it’
Do God look down from heaven to see if men are sinning and then visite upon them with judgement? NO!! If he did so, NO ONE- not even prophet Owuor would leave!!

What if we repent of our sins and cry on alters every weekend, what will that one be called? It is called A WEEKLY REMINDER OF SINS. Not an ATONEMENT for sins! If this be the states of christians, then it shows that Christs’ atonement was not better than that of the old testament in that like Jews, christians too needs to repent over and over again!!!

HOLINESS
Holiness is?
Owuor’s pesimistic view: set apart FROM SINS.
The correct optimistic view: set apart FOR God.
“without holiness, no one will see God”
“No unholy thing will ever enter that city”
So God looks down upon men to see who will enter that city? He looks at their sins as unholiness before him? If he did so, NO ONE is holly-not even prophet Owuor!
So it is said the temple of God is a holy place. Lets apply Owuor’s definition; lo! It is ridiculus! It implies that a temple can possibly sin. Can a dead place, such as alter commit sin? What about when we sin in an alter? We don’t thus make the alter unholy! Nothing once made holly can be unholified!!! It is God, not man, who makes it holy whatever he chooce-including your body. And if it is an act of God, it is written very clearly that
“WHATEVER God does is from everlasting to everlasting. Nothing can be added to it or taken away from”
“I am the Lord WHO MAKES YOU HOLY”

Who then is this sinning ‘church’ Owuor is adressing! He is a confused man! Perharps he is attempting to make it straight those whom God bended!! It is written:
“If anyone is DESTINED to go to captivity, INTO CAPTIVITY HE WILL GO!!”
“Should we remove the fake seeds the devil planted? (the hypocrites in churches) No! If we uproot them, we might damage the legitimate wheat. Rather, whait until the day of judgement when God will separate the good wheat from the bad one”
Jesus made it clear that its not our duty to worry about hypocrites in the church-including the CORRUPT LEADERS. (the parrable of the enemy who planted his own seeds) Why get your soul disturbed in miniskirts, corruption sex and other NONISSUES in the ‘church’. the true church is composed of sinless saints. ‘Sin inside the church’ is OXYMORON! Owuor despite his prowess in bible and his followers are yet to master elementary teachings! There are some parts of the bible Owuor simply takes no notice of them.

The so called christians having unjustifyably shoved off teachings against LEAVING UNDER THE LAW to merely rule out the specific commandments they didn’t like, they failed to understand the teaching!! REPENTANCE AND HOLINESS
He gets it well. REPENT: turn away from sin.
But the whole MISSION cannot be about turning away from sin! Incesant turning away from sins is of the same par with the invisible angle of activity described in Hebrews 10:1-6. (Repentance is shadowed by sin offering of which God is not pleased with!)
But what of the treatening Hebrews 6:4-6? It adds more weight to what I said! Repentance is done ONLY ONCE!!!
What makes you perfect and sinless? MIRACLE. If Owuor sees some christians with sin that leads to death( the sin not of sex as he might think but the sin of FALLING AWAY as described in Hebrews 6:4-6 (to fall away is to deny the very sacrifise that redeamed you. to unconfess your faith in Jesus as your saviour and treat the christ sacrifise with CONTEMPT, a blasphemy of the holy spirit) Then if he had experienced the MIRACLE that leads to sinlessness NOTHING can be done! If he were a church attendant only, then as usual, a gentle invitation, not threats, is done.
It seems that Owuor thinks that the sin that leads to death, as described in 1John 5: 16-17 is LIES and SEX!!! It is the sin of LOSING FAITH IN GOD, ESPECIALY THE ATONEMENT OF SIN. ( the sin that made Moses not enter cannan: falling away in faith in God) At best, immorality of any sort is not what leads to death but rather, a SYMPTOM of spiritual death caused by the sin I mentioned above. What do words help to a dead person? NOTHING!! Only a MIRACLE done by God is neaded.
Now prophet David Owuor is nowadays openly called the last prophet, the mightiest prophet, the one sent by God to prepare the way for the second comming of Jesus. I.e on the same par with John the babtist!!!
So they didn’t understand in which sense John the babtist prepared the way for the first comming of Jesus!!! Phew! How else would I know that? Indead a fool, when silent, is thougth to be wise.:-) O what a spiritual marusmus is that?
To get a clue, o follower of Owuor, read the questioning of authority of Jesus where Jesus where Jesus difended himself by saying “by what authority did John the babtist babtised?”
Alright, if you are wise, you have guessed. It was in the presence of a large crowd when John said;
“Behold, the son of God who takes away the sins of the world”
And the crowd he babtised became the disciples of Jesus for they knew that though John never saw Jesus, what he said concerning him were true. The testimony of John the babtist about the then breathtaking claim was very powerful. Without it…you can guess what would have happened!
Concerning his second comming, Jesus rather dismised all the ‘John the babtists’ as FALSE PROPHETS!!!
“If anyone tells you, behold there he is, donnot beleive it!”
comparing this with “behold, the lamp of God that takes away the world sins,” we get the picture that there is NO equivalent to John the babtist with regard to Jesus’s second comming!! It is for a very simple reason; his second comming, unlike the first, will be plain obvious. Forget about the nonbiblical rapture theory concocted by a human being just a relatively few years ago!
