AS USUAL WITH LUO POLITICS IT SEEMS WE ARE  ALREADY ADAPTED THAT TIME HEALS EVERYTHING, HUMANBEINGS HEALS NOTHING. SO WHOEVER STICKS HIS LIFE ON THE STREETS WHEN MUNGIKI ARE SHOOTING NEXT TIME SHOULD JUST KNOW THAT ONLY HIM AND HIS FAMILY WILL BEAR THE CONSEQUENCES.

Meshack,

Obviously, a good leader, like a good gambler must know when to hold, when to fold, when to walk away and when to run. Raila decided to fold. He can rightly be called a coward, or selfish. To me, he recognized the fact that bloodshed for the mere sake of bloodshed, even when supported by the most powerful nations is not better that peace with minimal changes. Some have in the past likened Raila to violence, and this is the best rebuttal to their lame claims. Here he merely chose peace instead. These minimal changes, albeit The agwambo emerging as the 2nd PM is the foundation for a future non-tribalistic leader, in a more democratic Kenya. Yes, Kenyans died for Raila to be president, of which he was rightly elected. Please understand that Raila does not care about being president anymore. Some advocated to secession if things did not go as desired, but this as you will agree would be too drastic a measure. Is Raila finished? Perhaps. It just does not matter to him anymore, as long as there is real change. Let Kenyans enjoy the real change even if it is not wholesome. The future is very Orange.

We should expect drastic positive changes just because Raila has been appointed PM. Let us give Raila and his group time.
He has proved himself in the eye of everybody that he can lead.
Raila’s image internationally is now very positive because of the
way he behaved during the negotiation of Peace Accord. He chose peace instead of war. He again humbled himself to share
power with Kibaki knowing very well that he had defeated Kibaki.
This is an honest leader who can now lead kenyans without discrimination.

But,while sharing power with Kibaki,Raila should be careful. The aim of Kibaki is to destroy him politically within. Kibaki never accepted the sharing of power willingly. This is well evidenced by
behavior of Chief Sacretary towards Raila. The only thing which
Kibaki does not know is that his time is over. The tricks of Kenyatta’s administration can not be applied this time successfully. Let Kibaki becomes honest to himself and leave
kenyans to elect their leaders peacefully. If he tries to steal
election next time ,the international community will not allowed
    him.
