The Kenyan media are currently keeping a round-the-clock vigil on the anti-corruption wave and they are taking time out in guessing who is next on the firing line. Secondly, the 4th estate in Kenya have never been keen on reporting beyond the border and would rather report on trivialities from sinking politicians than educate and inform Kenyans on the happenings in the region and beyond. That is why the Tanzanian election was not a selling piece in their minds. Call it sensational reporting to bring in cash and not balanced reporting that informs, educates and sells.
