My name is Francis and I want to introduce and invite you to Rotaract Club. But let me first tell you what a Rotaract Club is!
A Rotaract club is a Rotary club sponsored organization of young men and women between the ages of 18 and 30, whose purpose is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities and to promote better relations between all the people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service. i.e a Rotaract club consists of
1. Professional development.
2. Leadership development.
3. And service program.
In a nutshell, it’s a club where we meet to
1. Have lots of fun and make new friends
2. Network for jobs and opportunities
3. Organize for ourselves workshops and seminars.
4. Invite speakers to our meetings to educate, inspire and motivate us.
5. Organize community service projects to assist needy Kenyans.
6. Organize trips and excursions and
7. And much, much more.
We have over 7,000 clubs in about 163 countries and geographical areas and over 25 clubs in Kenya.
So if you are between 18 and 30, a young professional, just cleared college or university, or still a student, then you have a chance to join our happy big family.
