KENYA: ODM SEC GEN PROF.NYONG’O ADMITS THAT THEIR PARTY IS MINORITY IN PARLIAMENT

ODM party Secretary General and Medical Services Minister Prof.Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o has admitted that his party is no longer a superpower in parliament as quarters he purports to be anti-reforms have ganged up to frustrate the party,

Speaking in Nyakach District within Kisumu Countyduring the buriual of the late Bonface Anyango father of the area MP Pollins Ochieng’ Daima,Nyong’o said that henceforth ODM will resort to fighting its battle outside the parliament as they have noticed that fighting in parliament is in vain as they can not make numbers.

“Our party cannot sway any voting party in parliament as anti- reformists have ganged against it to oppose anything its back, we have lost considerably due to split within the party and its upon luos to make sure that we go back to our previous position” he added.

During the function ,Muhoroni MP and Education Assistant Minister Prof.Ayiecho Olweny commended the parliament for the passage of the constitution which allows only graduate degree holders to contest for parliamentary seat.

“we must have a literate parliament not an illiterate parliament where legislatures pass laws they are ignorant of then they cry wolf later” he added
