what the hell is eating us?

Unedited sense of outrage

Has our tribalism completely robbed us of the urgency and sense to realize that we are becoming idiots and fools who no longer see that we are going to perish in the ethnic cocoons? How come young Kenyans as young as 21 24, 28 still are so connected to these tribal politics and are the most venomous and staunch supporters of the tribal and ethnic agendas… screaming in praise of this or that crook.. How come our intellect is now totally sacrificed and replaced with self interest even as we see that this self interest has reached the limit and time is now for us to act together in the interest of something bigger than self interest?

How come If it is not stolen elections, then it is transport crisis caused by Uhuru at Muthurwa; if not that then it is petrol up to 100 shillings a litter; if not that then it is Mungiki cutting people’s throats or the police senselessly killing Kenyans in every corner and calling it dealing with Mungiki? Must people’s cars be razed to metal and ashes and property destroyed as if we are in congo, as if we are in Somalia?

you mean must some one come from Havard with a Phd in Sociology to tell Michuki and Saitoti that the only thing you need to do is to registered the stupid Mungiki and deal with a legal entity? How come Kenyans just get satisfied with the idea that Mungiki is proscribed and unregistered and never ask why the damn organization is not registered since every one recognizes that the organization is right here in our compound?

Is our country becoming a failed state? Or is it already and I did not know?

Who Am I supposed to ask these questions by the way? Is it you the citizen or who then do I ask?

How come we have NO room on TV to discuss these pressing issues except for the same cynical politicians coming on screen again and again to tell us the same old garbage about how they simply are the criminals and that they will continue to steal from us because after all MTA DO?

Where is the president and his prime minister; don’t we have a right to live here?

How can we struggle to give Kenyans a job to keep their children alive and then government colludes to steal our taxes through a scandalously bloated cabinet then we suddenly realize that it is a useless cabinet which can not deal with insecurity, it can not fix nothing:

Must we walk 20 Kilometers to work and 20 Kms back home? Must we pay a whole Kshs. 100 for a liter of petrol? Must Kenyans die from this madness? Must we be killed and exploited by both government and Mungiki and city council and politicians and councilors and the police? Do not we have a way of fixing this problem? How come those of us who struggle so hard to pay tax and keep the fat cabinet in place get slapped every minute by the same cabinet and the same president and prime minister who can not even hear a thing we say? When will this stop and so that we get our country back from this twin alliance of a cynical government and politicians and a senseless gang of criminals all over the place?

How are we going to deal with these ever increasing prices and keep businesses alive and try to get some food on our tables?

How come Kibaki and Raila can never hear our cry that we are on our knees and only rely on a few shillings a day to buy some food? How come these two men can not care even for one day that we are sleeping hungry? That our families are collapsing from their cynical mediocrity and cynical connivance to cripple us?

How come the youth of this country where I am one, we can not act and stop this nonsense and bring this country back to working order?

How come I am the only other individual who sees that the only outrageous about Kenya is that there is no outrage about the rot and cynical immorality being institutionalized in out politics, our enterprise, our psyche, our families, our institutions, our relationships and our everything?

Is there moral death in Kenya?

Is our country alive or it is rotten?

How come NO brilliant people are standing up to call even for a rally to discuss the moral death in our republic?
