To Whom It May Concern–To The Ones in Authority:

There is a section in the Kisii Main Road that has a “million” pot holes. Drivers of Buses, lorries, cars and other vehicles have extremely difficult time driving thru those miles in that section of the major “Highway”. Pedestrians, people who walk on the road, are always in danger in that section.

I passed two times thru that section of the road as a passenger in a van. I asked myself, does the people of Kisii have Members of Parliament? What do they do, if they leave a road to rotten. The road appears as the ones you will see in horror movies, or those designed for Monster trucks. Does Officials in higher Government Positions, or other Ministers in Government ever visit Kisii via that road? Why are the people put in danger thru that road? Is it due to lack of money? Then, for goodness sake, let the People know. I believe People are mature enough to know and handle the truth.

I saw very few workers with one or two machines and two trucks trying to cover those “Million” pot holes. How long will those 7-10 people take to complete the needed repairs? It is a disgrace, especially those who were elected to represent the people of that area of the damaged road. Have the Area Leaders tried to petition the Central Government for help with Road repairs?????????????? Or, Have they accepted it as normal for now until the NEXT ELECTION CIRCLE DRAWS NEAR THEN THEY HURRY TO REPAIR THE ROAD IN ORDER TO BLACKMAIL VOTERS??????????????

I write this note with a lot of pain and a heavy heart from overseas. I hope and pray that someone in authority and those involved in decision making will take quick action to save those who must drive thru that section of the road in the glorious land of the Kisii.
