This is why the Luos are not considered the smartest in kenya. Why would anybody want to condemn his people to a slum living conditions while dishing out land to Wabeberu who do not have respect for Africans.
You know, during the recent election turmoil in Kenya, the Kikuyus were saying all sorts of things about the Luos. For example, a Luo is capable of exchanging his land for an old car!! I think they may be on to something here.
Why couldn’t the people who brought this “Mbeberu” to Yala form a group, raise/borrow money and cultivate that piece of land themselves instead of handing it over to the guy who neither have respect for them nor the poor people whose lands were confisticated?
What are the people supporting this bloody project getting out of it, bribes? There is a say”a fool with his/her money are soon parted”. The Luos claim to be academic giants. Majority of them are very short sighted when it comes to using the most important piece of property called LAND, particulary when they see money!!
