It was hard for some, but a peace of cake for others. In any case, when you first got word of your coming to this great nation, either you or your parents invited family members, friends and well wishers for prayers and some financial support. While some rejoiced with the family and happily supported, others were un-happy and came up with lame excuses for not showing up. Why? Because they didn’t see how they would benefit from whoever was going overseas. But were they right/justified? You be the judge. But, if you can, reflect with me on what has happening since arriving this great nation:
1.You have assisted many people back home.
2.Your home has been a refuge to others
3.You have happily contributed to many community events-funeral,
pre-weeding,weddings, to those returning home and many others
A careful look on how you have spent your money will reveal that others apart from your family have benefited from your coming to USA.
So, what’s my point? It’s about time we realize that the success of others is our success;therefore:
1. Let us support and rejoice with those who are either going to school or have graduated
2.Let us support those who have managed to set up any kind of business. For them to succeed, they need all our support
3.Let husbands/wives support their own spouses as they struggle to achieve their goal. Remember that his/her succes is the family success.
4.Assist the un-married to get good partners by providing honest information
5.Let us be one anothers keeper by advising against a path of direction that you know very well that it will lead into destruction.
6. Let us rejoice with those who have been promoted
7.Let us build instead of destroying.
In this way,we’ll demonstrate the fact that exposure has changed and transformed our way of perceiving/seeing things. Shall we?
Just a thought.
