Re: What do you want?

Solomon, the wisest king ever, knew what he wanted “wisdom and understanding to know how to lead God’s people. The blind Bartimaeus knew what he wanted “to receive his eyesight.”

But if you asked many people that question, I bet they will not tell you anything. Disturbing as it might sound, many are the people out there who have no idea as to what they want I have had conversations with people who had no idea as to what they want in life. Reflect with me on the following:

1.There are some wives/husbands who have wonderful family but are ever whining. They are not happy unless they have caused trouble for their own family members. Nothing good comes out of their mouths. Whenever they return home from work, even the animals go hiding. I have come across many who are the verge of calling it a quit.”For how long dear Lord!,” is the cry of those who find themselves in such families.

2.There are employees who talk so ill of their employer. They don’t like their employer nor do they want to quit. And so the question is, why not find another job where they will be happy?

3. Need I mention of those who neither like this country nor their native country! Come on friends, we cant have it both ways! We need to decide for something!

I can cite one example after another but the bottom line is this “Do you know what you want? Do I? And if a person does not know what she or he wants, how in the world can any one be of any help?

Just a thought.
