RE: APPRECIATION FOR MEDIA SUPPORT
The Lake Victoria Basin Film Makers Guild (Kenya) would like to take this opportunity to extend its sincere appreciation to various Media Houses for the support they have given to regional artistic expressions and development. The region has huge creative artistic talents that have not been taped and therefore needs to be harnessed. The awards ceremony will go along way in achieving this noble objective.
APPEAL FOR SPONSORSHIP
The Awards Ceremony has already received a trophy from Hon Dr. Oburu Odinga, the Assistant Minister for Finance who has donated for the best Regional Film Maker. We hereby appeal to well wishers to support the event. The event will also empower artistes to go extra mileage.
The Communications and Media Department Maseno University will present a play titled CHAPAA KWA MTAA, Buki Steve will play xylophone and Fedelis Tarino Musumba will present a Kiganda dance, others will be Amazon Theatre Group a new theatre movement in Kisumu. Yawa dance group will also be awarded for creative dance.
