Fw: PLO Lumumba [Pielo] is a sellout who served Moi dictatorial regime in the most selfish &shameful way–as a spy against students

*****PLEASE DISTRIBUTE TO AS MANY KENYANS AS POSSIBLE********

We who know PLO Lumumba well owe our fellow Kenyans details about this man’s history of hurting Kenyan people’s struggle.
====================

PLO Lumumba has failed the test of true leadership over and over. Those who know PLO Lumumba since his student days know that PLO Lumumba will go down in history as the biggest sell-out to the struggle of the people of Kenya. When PLO through some accident of history became the chairman of the Student Organization of Nairobi University for 1984-85, he sold the students to Moi resulting in death (God rest the late Wandera’s soul in eternal bliss), imprisonment, expulsions, beating, rape and torture of students with nerve gas (in what is famously known as Bhopal of 1985).

PLO’s agemates who can make any claim to leadership today spent their 20’s and 30’s either in prison, exile, underground or in the bush. They fought gallantly and removed one-party dictatorship in 1991. What was PLO doing all this time? Yes, you guessed it–supporting Moi dictatorial regime and acting as a spy against progressive students, lecturers at the university of nairobi between 1985 and 2002.

When the progressive LSK which was fighting Moi decided to give Paul Muite the chairmanship, guess who Moi fronted to fight Muite? Yes, you guessed it right. Thankfully,the LSK is made of PLO ‘s contemporaries who know PLO in and out. And he was humiliated by Muite in the LSK vote just as he has been humiliated in all elections he has run in since the killing of Wandera in 1985.

Let us say this today with all certainty we can muster. Patrick Lumumba Otienio-PLO will never be a councillor or an MP in Kenya, leave alone president (ha ha ha ha–let’s laugh!!!!). His contemporaries will fight him tooth and nail and ensure that he never gets into any electoral office ever. This was the pact his age-mates who went to prison in the 80s vowed at kamiti maximum agreed on.

PLO became secretary of the constitutional review commission in 2000–not because he was elected by anybody–but yes, you guessed it, because his master, dictator Daniel Arap Moi appointed him so that he can ensure kenya never gets a new constitution–and PLO made sure kenya would not a have a new constitution, while gobbling 46 million shillings for his salary while embezzling 196 millions shillings through various accounting tricks which are going to be exposed when the right time comes!

Folks,

Let us accept the reality on this matter and suggestion by Hon. Raila Odinga. As some do suggest, ever since independence, our leaders have failed the litmus test of good governance. I would indeed wish that we have an open minded leader with vision of Kenya at heart. Today we all complain of our dearly elected/appointed/nominated….. and some senior servants have either accepted promotion by merit or taste of a particular ethnic queuing. The fact is we have ALL inclusively failed and no one would dare tell the reality that he/she would be better placed to heed the citizens call and wants. A very near example is the concluded Yashpal Ghai who though did commendable job but failed the implementation due to same theocratic behaviors of “our legislators and institutional heads” who were never accorded the choice to conduct the task Prof. Ghai did on constitution. Folks, believe it or not, as soon as one is charged with such a responsibility, then he/she will be toasted with flavors and mucky green soup to dilute his intelligence and experience of which many of these folks have fallen prey to and sit adjacent to the brewing industry decanting the very past deeds. For the nominee, that is like a fishing gear set near Migingo Island a waiting goodies by the landing bay. As someone once said that soccer is a game of talent but watched by many fools, the same is applicable with our to-be or seated leaders while seeking a profile position and the brewing of kitu kidogo comes with the name…….

Ndungu Matunda and Otieno, something is wrong and we might both be on the same foot-thumping looking for solution/s with many strings attached on the reserve. We dearly need to accept the fact that we are being diluted with open door policy of corruption where justice will never prevail however much debate we might engage each other in search of good stewardship….. it will take the present Kenya 3-4 more decades to come up with visionary leadership……but why, the good seeds the country has produced are either resting in eternal Peace or undergoing tremendous brain drain in exile.

Something must be terribly wrong with my friend’s judgement! How can Hon Raila, who is the Kenyan PM make such careless statements. You can see that even the Mzungu seated next to him is equally surprised. Why can’t he consult thoroughly with his advisors? I understand the labour politics in the West so much that I will be a fool to advocate for foreigners to take over the running of our institutions simply because of mistrust. The mistrust we are talking of has been created and exercebated by bad leadership Kenya has had since independence. Any Kenya (African) working abroad will find such an insult when their leaders, instead of creating opprtunities for their people, fight for the scarce positions for foreigners!

Something is terribly wrong!
