Maurice Agonda or simply Agonda wuodgi Tobby ja Nyandema/ja Nyasoko was just one of the most outstanding voices so far in the Benga history. Right from his days at the Omore Kings with “Nancy nyar Ugunja” upto the peak of Chomeka success, Agonda was always a voice to reckon. Listen to him praise Captain Raphael Owuonda ja Bande of Kenya Navy! Enjoy this Kenyan Benga.
Pythagorean theorem
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Pythagorean theorem: The sum of the areas of the two squares on the legs (a and b) equals the area of the square on the hypotenuse (c).
In mathematics, the Pythagorean theorem or Pythagoras’ theorem is a relation in Euclidean geometry among the three sides of a right triangle (right-angled triangle). In terms of areas, it states:
In any right triangle, the area of the square whose side is the hypotenuse (the side opposite the right angle) is equal to the sum of the areas of the squares whose sides are the two legs (the two sides that meet at a right angle).
The theorem can be written as an equation relating the lengths of the sides a, b and c, often called the Pythagorean equation:[1]
c^2 = b^2 + a^2
where c represents the length of the hypotenuse, and a and b represent the lengths of the other two sides.
The Pythagorean theorem is named after the Greek mathematician Pythagoras, who by tradition is credited with its discovery and proof,[2][3] although it is often argued that knowledge of the theorem predates him. There is evidence that Babylonian mathematicians understood the formula, although there is little surviving evidence that they used it in a mathematical framework.[4][5]
The theorem has numerous proofs, possibly the most of any mathematical theorem. These are very diverse, including both geometric proofs and algebraic proofs, with some dating back thousands of years. The theorem can be generalized in various ways, including higher-dimensional spaces, to spaces that are not Euclidean, to objects that are not right triangles, and indeed, to objects that are not triangles at all, but n-dimensional solids. The Pythagorean theorem has attracted interest outside mathematics as a symbol of mathematical abstruseness, mystique, or intellectual power; popular references in literature, plays, musicals, songs, stamps and cartoons abound.

Kenneth Omiti – Ochieng Nelly ft Winyo & Eddie Grey http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXOU58lYTo8
Published on Oct 7, 2012
Ochieng’ Nelly comesfrom the generation of Kenyan musicians of yester years who travelled across east and central Africa practicing their music craft, all the while adding to their arsenal and music skill. Ochieng developed his own unique style of playing guitar, that went on to be a big influence in the development of Benga music in Kenya.
In this video, we witness the fusion of time, the beginning merging into the future, when Ochieng Nelly from the pioneers era is joined on stage by two young musicians who bear the responsibility of taking what he started, into the future.
Enjoy Kenneth Omiti, played by Ochieng’ Nelly featuring Winyo on vocals and Eddie Grey on guitar.

I caught him in Kisumu performing separately with Ochieng’ Nelly early this year. This is from his ‘new’ recordings from the rejuvenation period when most of these veterans returned to the scene from oblivion.
The other tracks in this CD are: Awiti Jamawego, Bonyo Kolage, Chief Ogweno. I actually didnot know he had recorded! A nice surprise.

Loving friends, Listen to the lyrics of the Romantic Pastors Dengoring !!!!!!
Sharing in Words of Wisdom on Values:
Let us dance to the tune of Love and peace and ride on feathers of Angels sharing, caring and loving one another, to reach our destiny promise where there is plentiful of opportunities, happiness and joy.
Sure, Riding on the feathers in a Banquet of LOVE demands free-flow Rules and Regulations of traditional valuable norms, that are engraved and shared amongst a Community Cultural discipline; it also define distinct aptitudeness of good morals of acceptable character that identifies our belonging, who we all are………that, when you have to correct someone, you dont have to kill them; and when you discipline, you do it within precepts of love and caring to correct and make better……and this is not possible without principles of LOVE…….!!! Thus goes Swahili saying …….. “Mkosa Mila ni Mtumwa”…….

Hes as Irish as bacon and cabbage and stew
Hes Hawaiian, Kenyan, American too
If he succeeds, and he has a chance
Im sure our Barack will do Riverdance

Know there’s no one as Irish as Barack O’Bama.
Our Baracks a hero, Ive heard them say

Hes Cuchulainn, Liongo, not Vishnu or Brahma
But theres no one as Irish as Barack OBama
A name is a name and there’s no doubt about it
Barack OBamas name, you can shout it
Whether apostrophe or inverted comma
Theres no one as Irish as Barack OBama.

subject: Planet Earth (The Complete Discovery Channel Series)…
date: Sun, Jun 7, 2015 at 7:05 PM
As of its release in early 2007, Planet Earth is quite simply the greatest nature/wildlife series ever produced. Following the similarly monumental achievement of The Blue Planet: Seas of Life, this astonishing 11-part BBC series is brilliantly narrated by Sir David Attenborough and sensibly organized so that each 50-minute episode covers a specific geographical region and/or wildlife habitat (mountains, caves, deserts, shallow seas, seasonal forests, etc.) until the entire planet has been magnificently represented by the most astonishing sights and sounds you’ll ever experience from the comforts of home. The premiere episode, “From Pole to Pole,” serves as a primer for things to come, placing the entire series in proper context and giving a general overview of what to expect from each individual episode. Without being overtly political, the series maintains a consistent and subtle emphasis on the urgent need for ongoing conservation, best illustrated by the plight of polar bears whose very behavior is changing (to accommodate life-threatening changes in their fast-melting habitat) in the wake of global warming–a phenomenon that this series appropriately presents as scientific fact. With this harsh reality as subtext, the series proceeds to accentuate the positive, delivering a seemingly endless variety of natural wonders, from the spectacular mating displays of New Guinea’s various birds of paradise to a rare encounter with Siberia’s nearly-extinct Amur Leopards, of which only 30 remain in the wild.
That’s just a hint of the marvels on display. Accompanied by majestic orchestral scores by George Fenton, every episode is packed with images so beautiful or so forcefully impressive (and so perfectly photographed by the BBC’s tenacious high-definition camera crews) that you’ll be rendered speechless by the splendor of it all. You’ll see a seal struggling to out-maneuver a Great White Shark; swimming macaques in the Ganges delta; massive flocks of snow geese numbering in the hundreds of thousands; an awesome night-vision sequence of lions attacking an elephant; the Colugo (or “flying lemur”–not really a lemur!) of the Philippines; a hunting alliance of fish and snakes on Indonesia’s magnificent coral reef; the bioluminescent “vampire squid” of the deep oceans… these are just a few of countless highlights, masterfully filmed from every conceivable angle, with frequent use of super-slow-motion and amazing motion-controlled time-lapse cinematography, and narrated by Attenborough with his trademark combination of observational wit and informative authority. The result is a hugely entertaining series that doesn’t flinch from the predatory realities of nature (death is a constant presence, without being off-putting). At a time when the multiple threats of global warming should be obvious to all, let’s give Sir David the last word, from the closing of Planet Earth’s final episode: “We can now destroy or we can cherish–the choice is ours.” –Jeff Shannon

Jump to: navigation, search
See also: Pythagorean trigonometric identity

This is from his ‘new’ recordings from the rejuvenation period when most of these veterans returned to the scene from oblivion.

Subject: A Combination of Rythmatic Romantic Pastors’ Dengoring …………!!!!
From: Judy Miriga
Good People, Enjoy yourselves and have a peaceful sharing weekend !!!
Tuma salaam kwa wote, I love you all good people, tena ninawapenda wote !!!

O’Leary, O’Reilly, O’Hare and O’Hara
There’s no one as Irish as Barack O’Bama
From the old Blarney Stone to the green Hill of Tara
There’s no one as Irish as Barack O’Bama
You don’t believe it, I hear you say
Barack’s as Irish as was JFK
His granddaddys daddy came from Moneygall
A small Irish village, known to you all.
Hes as Irish as bacon and cabbage and stew
Hes Hawaiian, Kenyan, American too
If he succeeds, and he has a chance
Im sure our Barack will do Riverdance
From Kerry and Cork to old Donegal
Lets hear it for Barack, from old Moneygall
From the Lakes of Killarney to old Connemara
Theres no one as Irish as Barack OBama
Tooral – U Tooral U Tooral U Toor a lama
There’s no one as Irish as Barack O’Bama
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++
* NEW VERSES:
His Mams daddys granddaddy was one Falmuth Kearney
Hes as Irish as any from the Lakes of Killarney
His Mams from a long line of great Irish Mammas
There’s no one as Irish as Barack O’Bama
He looks after his own, a true son of St. Patrick
He chose as his mate, Joe Biden, a Catholic,
Proddies, Jews, Muslims, even the Dalai Lama
Know there’s no one as Irish as Barack O’Bama.
Our Baracks a hero, Ive heard them say
Fenian to Kenyan, the American Way
Hes Cuchulainn, Liongo, not Vishnu or Brahma
But theres no one as Irish as Barack OBama
A name is a name and there’s no doubt about it
Barack OBamas name, you can shout it
Whether apostrophe or inverted comma
Theres no one as Irish as Barack OBama.
Now you Hillary supporters don’t you vote for McCain
And the VP needs brains, so forget about Palin
With Cheney and Bush, they are all ignorama
Theres no one as Irish as Barack OBama
Last Chorus:
Tooral – U Tooral S Tooral A Toor a lama
There’s no one as Irish as Barack O’Bama
Tooral – U Tooral S Tooral A Toor a lama
There’s no one as Irish as Barack O’Bama

subject: Planet Earth (The Complete Discovery Channel Series)…
date: Sun, Jun 7, 2015 at 7:05 PM
The 6 DVD Documentary goes for Ksh. 2,600.
