Mau forest List of shame

Subject: Mau forest List of shame

Hey guys,
Allow me to introduce to you Kenya’s very own land grabbers. These guys grabbed land in Mau forest, a major water catchment area for kenya and neighbouring countries like Ethiopia and Uganda. Mau forest is a source of about 12 rivers which drain to lake victoria, turkana etc.

As a result of it’s destruction, Kenya is now experiencing an acute shortage of water. Shame on them.

People, once again I let you see for yourself how we were cheated out of the Mau and understand why politicians are busy fighting for compensation, I have argued that the Ogiek Community I Eastern Mau are the only ones entitled to compensation but for these bunch of greedy people I say kick them out, but again will they?

I have my doubts, sometimes I think we need to go there ourselves, here all their names, approximate value of the land they grabbed and now argue on the Mau from a point of knowledge – you will not find such a list anywhere else so print it out and tell yourself you will not listen to all their arguments again.

Here the full list.

  1. Peace

The creator of this list better have their facts straight and not be accusing anyone who is innocent otherwise that is potential for being sued..do not destroy lives for a good story

  2. kennedy

Reposes and ressetle the genuine squatters and those who bought land. The land grabbers should be handled as per the Ndung`u Report because the might have grabbed other lands or allocate to themselves.

  3. Iqbal Halani

Who is this fuckin aterere trying to fool. SIX MILLION Kikuyus have entered the Rift Valley since 1950 and by the Kenyatta Regime usurping the original inhabitants Masai and Kalenjin land. Wantonly destroying the original forests as well (the stupid Norwegians even gave a Nobel Prize to Wangaari Maathai their settlement champion). NOW 18.000 (ONLY) Kales are being blamed for settling on their own land !!! Raila GET REAL !! So who has destroyed 60% of Kenya’s forests, these SIX MILLION or these 18,000 ???!!!

  4. ogwenogweno

Skin the devil, give him his dues and walk the talk. Without falling prey to the dirty politics of Kenya, why shouldn’t we just get the hell out of Mau and get over with this nonsensical blame game…

Will Kenyans wake up to the realization that there are those who, over the years, have plundered this country’s resources without much ado? Starting from Kenyatta and his cronies, Moi and the Kalenjin Good boys, etcetera….and they live on to make the most noise!

    Hell NO…not anymore.
