Kibaki Please Fire Alfred Mutua Today

What the hell is wrong with Alfred Mutua. It is these kind of comments that brought bloodshed to our beloved country and it is these same type of double-speak that could derail the signed deal the world witnessed. Someone please fire him today.

EXCERPT:

However, it is not yet clear what Mr Odinga’s powers and responsibilities will be.

Government spokesman Alfred Mutua said the president would appoint the cabinet and that the prime minister would work on an agenda set by the president.

“It is not what you would call power-sharing whereby the president and primeminister are equal… It is the president who appoints the prime minister and the whole idea in power sharing is bringing the opposition party into government on an equal basis,” he told the BBC.

“You cannot usurp the constitution of Kenya and create two seats of power,”he said.

Mutua is not a problem is saying what he is told to say. Therefore, we should not punish him.The country is suppose to find out the sender who is not working for our peace. The sender is undermining Kibaki as one of the principal who signed the peace accord. In fact,we should all appreciate the work of international community who saved kenyans from the destruction which we faced. Must thank the US whose president very keen interest to save kenya. Those were sending Mutua
and the like are opportunists who are always ready to create problems . My advise is that Mutua should resign from his post for him to remain with some respect.

There are some people who have enjoyed since the time of independence and they think that that kenya belongs to them. Kenya is for everybody and whoever thinks otherwhile we will be removal by
    kenyans to trash.

Yes, it is high time Kibaki fired Mutua. Can’t Kibaki see that Mutua is a disgrace to the Nation and to him (Kibaki) individually. There are so many mature and more qualified people than this man Mutua.

Is it possible for Kibaki to fire his spokesman? The spokesman would not have anything to say unless the President gave him his ok. The person that Kenyans need to worry about is Kibaki himself. Kibaki has to come out and talk about these comments. The honorable thing for him to do is to repudiate what his spokesman and his Muthaura have said in public to show that he is serious about the agreement that he signed. As kenyans we are not into playing games.

I have come to conclude that he either has been given too much leeway by his employer or he is paid based on how much he runs his mouth. I cannot help but read mischief in anything that this man says. He also appears to address Kenyans with what I can only term as contempt. Kenya does not need a government spokes-person serving in a ‘mutua-like’ capacity.
