Given that the conflict arising from the disputed presidential elections has roots in inequality, poverty, poor governance and a host of other issues, including inequality in terms of access to social amenities and economic opportunities, Kenyans want the president who will serve them equally.

Since independence the violence and conflict have been rooted in the favoritisms of state practice based on ethnic alliances, political activities that have often spilled over into violence and hence insecurity.

It explains why Joshua Waiganjo posed as top police officer for more than four years, even attending a high-powered security meeting where sensitive information is revealed. The man has been posing as an assistant commissioner of police and has been visiting several police stations in Rift Valley, even flying in a police helicopter to Suguta in Baragoi at the height of the police killings last month.

Against the background that Artur brothers found their way in Kenya. According to last year’s KTN’s investigations team, apart from security threats there was the cover-up that followed the seizure of Kenya’s largest ever cocaine haul in December 2004-click here to watch the video- Jicho Pevu.. Artur Brothers, KTN Raid, Statehouse Connection.

Video evidence being held by the police can also prove conclusively that Administration Police officers Badi Mwajirani and Juma Mwagaatu were unlawfully killed in the manner reported by Ali and Onsarigo, vindicating KTN’s bold reporting.

According to the report the Arturs were forming a secret CID unit, first reported in confidential diplomatic cables in 2006 as uncorroborated information from a local politician whose life was in danger.

As the Police and Government officials denied this, insisting the foreigners had forged police identification papers, even though they are likely to deny Waiganjo’s role in police, the report of a joint parliamentary team investigating the Artur saga named Narc activist Mary Wambui, then CID boss Joseph Kamau and former Special Advisor to the President Stanley Murage as key players in the Artur saga. Also named was the Internal Security minister at the time, John Michuki.

On its official Facebook page, Jicho Pevu claimed that the police were aware that Mohammed Ali was working on something big, but had no clue what it entailed. They also said that Mohammed Ali was accused of stealing a phone as part of the operation to derail his work.

The report, seen by the Daily Nation, indicates that the work of the team was frustrated by those bent on protecting the Artur brothers and promoting cover-ups to the extent that summonses to senior police officers to testify were ignored.

During their presence in Kenya, the Armenians, Artur Margaryan and Artur Sargsyan, are said to have been involved in numerous illegal activities, including tax evasion.

Politicians and senior government officials shielded the Artur brothers from the law. Click here to read a report by a parliamentary committee on the conduct of the deported Armenians said the pair used “political connections” to acquire passports and other key documents.

It explains clearly why Kenyans have the reason to fear for president whose agenda will rooted in the favoritisms of state practice based on ethnic alliances, political activities that have often spilled over into violence and hence insecurity.

It is also why Kenyans want the president who will investigate how 3 million people out of the population of 40 million Kenyans acquired their wealth, leaving the rest to subsist either in poverty or just above the poverty line.

President who will put equality at the top of the political agenda – by creating a dream team to bridge the rich-poor divide would help solve the problem. President who will create jobs, improve health and a range of other services, including clean water.

President who will make a clean up in ministries dominated by one ethnic communities, including Ministry of Transport, Finance, Nairobi Metropolitan Development, just to mention a few.

Real change must come from ordinary people who refuse to be taken hostage by the weapons of politicians in the face of inequality, racism and oppression, but march together towards a clear and unambiguous goal.

    THE FOURTH PRESIDENT WE WANT

The fourth president should not pack every possible posts with his tribesmen. He should never claim he is the one who brought Russian money to build Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu when in fact he never did.
He should equitably distribute national resources to counties and in thus doing bury tribalism.
And when he is over with state management at the end of his term, he should never falsify his legacy because Kenyans ae not idiots and know for a fact that history never lie.
