Globalization have emerged as a means to explain the myriad features of worldwide restructuring in the late 20th and 21st centuries.
Nations that have benefited from Globalisation far includes India,Brazil,South Africa and finally China, and what about Kenya? Ans we have too but at snail pace
Sadly the same cannot be said about African countries, which have largely missed out on the benefits of economic globalization despite implementing far reaching market-oriented reform from the early 1980s onwards under the watchful eye of the IMF and the World Bank.
However Kenya spirit should not be damped, is time we repackaged Kenya and there are ways on how to ensure that Kenya does not miss out again on the benefits of economic globalization.
I have identified areas that Kenya could use its strength in globalization area.
1-Sports
Ministry of sports should come up with a sports trade policies that can help identify and locate all sports events in the world that our sportsmen and women could participate in this will not only help boost our economy but also build our global image.I hope we can include Brank Kenya too
2-Trade
The global population will of course need food and also some related goods and services ,this is time we develop a department or an authority to defend Kenya as a best investment destination.is time we have to rework on Tilapia export
3-ICT
We can borrow from India ,ICT facilities were made affordable and this help in outsourcing services and human capital was enhanced which has made India largest outsourcing nation in the world.
4-Language Policy.
Kenya has a rare opportunity to aggressively market Kiswahili to other nations let us use our athletes and other people professionals to market Kiswahili to other nations.
From my simple estimates if just 20 Nations in Africa could effectively speak Kiswahili Kenya stand to generate annually Ksh 30B in direct benefits which can help our Nation build more social amenities ,educate more people provide health services to mau mau heroes

Never mind Nile Peach, the time is right for tilapia export. The rest of the world is making good on the East Africa native fish and we go hungry!
