Even as God’s children battle daily with the enemy, there is enough evidence that heaven is for real and that those who will remain faithful to the very end will inherit heaven for eternity. Here is what the Bible tells us:

Genesis 5:24 Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

Deuteronomy 34:5 And Moses the servant of the Lord died there in Moab as the Lord had said. He buried him in Moab in the valley opposite Beth Peor, but to this day no one knows where is grave is.

2 Kings 2:1,11 When the Lord was about to take Elijah to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal..As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them,and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.

Mathew 17:1-3 After six days Jesus took with him Peter,James, and John the brother of James,and led them up a high mountain by themselves.There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah talking with them.

Mathew 27:52-53 The tombs broke open and the bodies of many of the holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus’ resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

So, let us not give up but remain faithful to the very end. It’s a question of time family/friends. Will I be there? Will you?
