Re: Updates on my sickness @ the eve of 4th July-Independence day!

As we celebrate the 4th July-Independence day in the USA, I truly thank the man of Galilee for His willingness to stoop so low so as to set us free from the chains of sin.So, do I have any praise! So much that I don’t know where to start and end! Below, are some of them!

1. I want to thank the good lord for a new lease of life. That I am a life today on this the eve of 4th July is too good to believe. Come to think about it, except for the Lord, June 18th, would have been the end of life on earth!

2.I further want to thank Him for the many miracles that He has performed each day at a time. Oh my heart is truly grateful for all His benefits.

3.I want to thank the good Lord for a loving and supportive family. Rachel and the kids have truly ministered unto me, reminding me to rest, take my medication and eat well. Did I say stay away from the computer! Shh-that is on the top of the list.

4.I want to thank the Almighty God for a very loving and supportive congregation. Maranatha members have been there every single day through e-mails, telephone calls, and visitation. Their love has been overwhelming.

5. I am truly grateful to the family members and friends in Minnesota, all states, and from all over the world who have sent me e-mails, get-well cards, flowers or telephoned. All I can say is, thanks a million.

6.I am truly grateful to all my Internet friends-those who know me through my write ups. Although we have not met, I have truly appreciated your e-mails and telephone calls

7.Lastly, I am so thankful and grateful for all those who have gone an extra mile in making a great sacrifice. A good number of you have sent us your generous donations to assist in this our caught up situation.
We’ll live to remember your sacrifice! How else can I thank you! May the good Lord alone pay you back.

I just returned from the hospital. There was a very slight thinning of blood. For the first time it moved to 1:3. It has always moved between 1.2 and 1:1. More tests have been ordered with different specialists to determine how the blood clot came about . It has indeed puzzled the doctors given to that until June 18th, I had a clean bill of health! I did my routine physical check ups faithfully! Well, what is life anyway!

I will return to the clinic on Friday and Saturday. The pain, swelling and hardship of moving from point A to B remains. I continue to rest and elevate my leg.

A number of you have called to ask of the easiest way to send me some financial help:

Enjoy the 4th of July. Thank God that you are in good Lord. Whether you are a christian or not, take time to truly search your heart and ask this soul searching question,”How is it with my soul!” Never take life for granted. Don’t wait until tomorrow,as tomorrow might be way too late. Don’t you think so?

Just a thought.
