Kenya: Diaspora Affairs – Global Peace Convention in Nairobi

From: Judy Miriga

Joe Wakaria,

Hahahaha!!!!……

Not that I am laughing, but you sound so nice I cant help tickling. You know I like your approach. Your suggestion is good, but wait for a little bit.

Ambassador knows how to find me, I am always in the net-forum and we can have a conversation to better things and I have not heard from him though.

Let us clean Kenya from corruption first and engage ICC Hague to speed up, in high gear, then, that is when Real Peace will take effect in Kenya. Sasa bado these corrupt leaders think it is porojo, that change is in the distance space ……they don’t think we are sick and tired of their shoddy deals and we have made up our minds, that we are serious and we do not want any further delay.

G20 spell out that Gold is now stronger with more higher value in the Global Market benefiting the Common Emerging International Millennium Partnership, where dealings with China which is being taken through back door is hurting Economic balance of Kenya and is a serious risk to Kenyans poor and Africa.

These corrupt leaders want BANDAGE CHANGE for Kenyans and we want COMPLETE overhaul CHANGE before next election. These are some reason we want to stay focused so we can send them home in a hurry. Unajua nini, wakenya hawana shida, they are beautiful peaceful and wonderful people and I love them all equally without discrimination of ethnicity or tribal, but corruption ndio ina uwa wana Kenya….It is the reason I am fighting so hard. I am too old to enjoy the benefit of my fight, but the future generation is who I am fighting for.

I know your question was simple, but I am trying to elaborate so I am not mis-understood, or thought I am not taking my Diaspora work very seriously. I do. And I like doing work which delivers results.

I want to see the brains like those of Esther Arunga not wasted, but well placed to generate more wealth, build capacity and propel need for demand, create job opportunities and meet challenges in the world of competition and, where the likes of talents such of those of Hellon in music be a way and means of communication that which is highly valued and because, music is the antidote for healthy life, it is that which soothes the Spirit, Soul and Mind, and for purposes of PEACE …..and thereby be appreciated across borders. I want to see our youthful Engineers, Scientists, and Contractors with other Experts being appreciated, getting value for their education and getting involved and engaged with Globalizations of innovations and inventions……..I want to see our Oldies, taking mentourship in exchange for imparting wisdom without seeing our young dying early unexpectedly because of corruption and impunity…..what a wonderful world that will be…….

Let us deal with the root cause of corruption first and Kenya people are beautiful. I know them because we bore them, nurtured and brought them up . We want to see value for our products in our children. And we want them to appreciate why we came out of the kitchen to fight so hard for them, not to loose or let their wealth be stolen away from them…..We want our children’s wealth give them dignity, value, respect and honor in the face of the world…..These present leaders have given us none of those……they trade in undercutting deals, they are not fighting for their electorates, they do not care whether the electorates are able to send their children to school or not, have food or not, are struggling to make ends meet or not, are hardly making it or not, whether the electorates have needs or not, whether their needs are met or not, whether future is planned for them or not, ………these leaders are not united in line with the demands of the public and to form a stronger wall against foreign invasion……..instead, they plan with the same enemies of development to loot public wealth from public coffers, they are creating more debts to sink poor people into abject poverty……There are no PEACE that can emerge under such circumstances….the problem are the LEADERS not the PEOPLE……

We want our Fish, Titanium, Migingo, Lake Victoria, our Land and Gold recovered back from robbers, we do not want Chinese prisoners or Chinese Soldiers on Kenyan soil doing small jobs that poor Kenyans would have had opportunity to do (these corrupt leaders mathematics do not add up). We do not want Somali Pirates……..If we are able to deal with the root cause of the problem, Kenya will be a wonderful place.

I am not challenging PM Raila because he is a bad man, but because he has failed to stand up bold, brave and firm against corruption, and leave up to the standards set for Reform Agenda. He is letting Panya-route widens thus creating havoc to Luos ……..

Migingo and Lake Victoria would not have gone, he would have put Kibaki hapa na hapa and let MPs from Nyanza free to serve and deliver and challenge corruption openly and by whistle blowing and exposure…….Saitoti would not have taken the Administration Central Government to Luo Nyanza, thus impoverishing the Greater Luo Nyanza…..this is because, one man is not an island. I therefore believe PM Raila is compromised and so he is not able to deliver to the electorate.

Your statement is very valid, I hear you, but we still have plenty of some work to do from the base here……..I am able to meet with Kenyans on Diaspora matters through WEBNAR Communication conferencing highway…..There are many potential matters coming up and some are ongoing that Kenyans need to be aware………We need to compare note with His Excellency Ambassador Elkana Odembo so he knows our future plans and Agenda, first how we want participate in developing Kenya……..We may have different mission and ideas, but can pool common policy ground for agreement.

We need to contact State Department soon for our next Agenda which I hope to post to all members of our Diaspora, those of some social affairs and the developmental matters so we can get moving while sharing with electorates on the ground……..at least we can socialize and breath fresh air.

Let me know if I can connect in the Convention through Webnar. This is another way of an effective means of conferencing communication and sharing. Let me know the subject you may want me to prepare and contribute. I love you Joe,

Cheers !!!!!!!!

Hi Judy,

Balozi Odembo mentioned to me that he was thinking of you as a delegate to the Global Peace Convention in Nairobi this week. He said you were going to be in Kenya anyway. Have you spoken to him about it. Here’s information about it: www.globalpeaceconvention.org. There will be session I helped organize on the role of Diaspora in development. If you haven’t heard from Balozi, would you still be interested to participate? I can facilitate your registration. Let me know.

Joe Wakaria
