PRESS CONFERENCE HELD BY THE NATIONAL EMERGING YOUTHS FOR CHANGE HELD AT BOULEVARD HOTEL ON 3rd DECEMBER 2010 IN REGARD TO THE INDECENT CHARACTER, CORRUPTION AND ETHNIC POLARISATION OF THE KENYAN STATE BY THE US AMBASSADOR TO KENYA, MICHAEL E. RANNEBERGER.

We the National Emerging Youths for Change, consisting of over ten thousand, 10,000 communities based youth groups and have membership of over two million youths, 2,000,000 wish to make the following statement and lay bare the facts concerning the rogue ambassador.

1. That the ambassador has been tribal in his undertaking his official duties and has clearly segregated youths from the Central and Eastern provinces. In this regard, he has created ethnic blocs and displayed open discrimination thus taking this country backward on national cohesion and integration. In this regard, the Youths Innovate Fund has been unilaterally allocated to specific communities as the Ambassador has sinister motives centered on American imperialism towards 2012. As a fact, George Soros, a key supporter and financier of President Obama has recently been accused of sponsoring 2007 Post Election Violence. With this respect, we demand that the Ambassador stop spreading ethnic jingoism and ensure that these funds are managed by all the qualified youths failure to which, we shall petition the US Congress and President to stop these funds immediately.

2. That the Ambassador has become a symbol of impunity as evidence by his breach of protocol and Article 30 of the Vienna Convention on the Diplomatic code of conduct. Further

3. The Ambassador is creating unnecessary panic and tension in the public by his deliberate failure to name the alleged drug barons and ministers who have been banned from travelling to US. In this regard, we demand to know theses drug barons that he constantly mentions and he must come clean on how he knew them, where they met and under what circumstances. If he cannot name them we therefore insist that he desist forthwith from uttering such uncorroborated remarks.

4. That the Ambassador has subjected himself to political activism and demagoguery in this country and has depicted open bias in the Boundaries Review debate as he has been holding and funding secret night meetings with Pro Ligale Report MPs in his evil motive of ensuring that the least represented areas do not get proper representation.

5. We further demand that the ambassador sheds his diplomatic immunity and tables the evidence he has against the closed charter house bank as we are aware the bank was closed in 2006 but his public gimmicks started in 2010 which leaves us asking why?
6. We also challenge the ambassador to declare his political interest as his is an elder in more than 12 ethnic communities and thus would be better placed if elected to advocate for their rights.

7. The Ambassador has been making public utterances on corruption and mal-governance in Kenya and yet his own embassy is a den of corruption, nepotism, tribalism and racism. In addition during the Referendum campaigns, millions of dollars were allegedly given to various organizations and yet some organizations do not even exist. Thus we demand a forensic audit as even the US Congress has raised serious financial impropriety in how the American Taxpayers money was spent. Further, the Embassy has been funding briefcase organizations that do not even have physical offices and such channels are the conduit through which some embassy staff steals the funds.

8. That the current revelations by the WIKILEAKS are a very harsh judgment of the dictatorial tendencies by the US government. The harsh verdict also tells the nascent hatred that the US government harbours against Kenya and thus we demand immediate recalls of the Kenyan Ambassador US until all these diplomatic relations are resolved.

9. We further demand that the current Ambassador respect the institutions in Kenya, its President, Prime Minister and Cabinet ministers. He has arrogated himself the duty of a Pseudo President and we the young patriotic Kenyans are tired of his rhetoric as even the Kenyan Ambassador of US never dictates on what Americans should even eat and how they sleep as the Ambassador wants to do to us.

10. In conclusion, if these demands are not met in the next 48 hours, we shall call a national wide youth’s mass demonstration in all villages and towns in this country and even in US where we have Diaspora members.
