As I was driving this morning, a danger signal came on. Since this has happened before, I knew that there was no engine oil in my car and that an engine knock was a possibility if I didn’t act soon. I immediately stopped at a gas station and took care of the problem!

This incident reminded me of a flyer I recently saw in a doctor’s office. The flyer had detailed information of how one can detect a stroke, a blood clot and heart attack.The major and may be the only reason for that is to help a person know how to prevent an attack and therefore save his or her life.

Since we all desire to live longer, no one is known to have ignored such vital information. Whoever does, does so at his or her own risk.

Come to think about it, way before any human being came up with any warnings, the good Lord implanted in every human being a danger signal of detecting sin. Every time we are tempted to sin, a danger signal goes on warning us of dire consequences, which almost always includes this phrase “Be careful for you will be caught.!”

The problem, at least as far as I am concerned, is that more often than not, I chose to ignore the danger signal. But today, I am pleading with the good Lord to help me listen to the danger signal of sin! How about you my dear friend!
