Since coming to this great Nation, I have had an opportunity to live in three States-Michigan, Texas, and now, Minnesota! Michigan and Minnesota gets very cold during the Fall/Autumn and winter months- September- April. Texas is bad news in the summer months-June-August!
Those who have lived in States with cold winters and hot summers and have owned cars, will appreciate two provisions in a car-a good working air condition and heating system!
Driving a car without a good working air condition in summer or a good working heating system in winter can be bad news indeed!
And so while others appreciate other features/provisions in a car, I am ever thankful with a good heating and cooling systems! Any time I enter into my car driving even a short distance with or without the family, friends, and church members, I feel like sending a thank you note to the maker of my car.    Â
Its things like these that daily remind me of the goodness of our heavenly father! No wonder the Psalmist’s moving words, “How can I repay the Lord for all his goodness to me!” (Psalms 116:12,) have become my daily song!Â
Yes, on this day, Monday, August 11, 2008, 4:00 Am, I can not but truly thank my heavenly father for among other things,
1.A free gift of life!
2.Plan of salvation!
3.My dear wife, children, parents, siblings, relatives, church members, friends and yes, even my enemies!
4.His sure word that ever speaks to my heart
Yes! Daily appreciation is the song of my heart! When I finally get to the kingdom, before I settle down to enjoy life for eternity, I will bow down and thank the good Lord in the presence of all the saved ones for all His goodness and faithfulness to me while on earth!
