Friends,
We had a consultative meeting with the CEO at NCBDA this afternoon and we must appreciate the interest and response we are receiving from Kenyans. We will be holding discussions with more players to enable us develop partnerships that will drive this process forward.
We are inviting Kenyans to join hands this Saturday the 16th April 2011 to help join in the Monthly Nationwide Clean-up Campaign. We are happy that many Kenyans across the land have been calling us and offering their support and partnership.
It is our wish that we all own this process and help clean our country. In all that we are doing, Kenya must be our number one Love. When we love Kenya, we will extend that love to Kenyans, and we will have no reason for singling even one single Kenyan for our vitriol.
Our love for Kenya and Kenyans must never be subjective. You cannot hate the Children and love the Mother, nor can you hate the Father and love the Children. We are all God’s Bits of Wood and in the footsteps of Jesus the Holy Christ, we must forgive each other and let go.
In driving the Monthly Nationwide Clean-up Campaign, we have been inviting Kenyans to preach love and unity, the kind that will see us share in the little that we have; The kind of love that will make us our neighbours keeper; The kind of love that will advance our National aspirations as a Country; The kind of love that will make us have compassion with all Kenyans who have been displaced from their homes due to various reasons.
Let us move to the trenches on Saturday and help do our bit in cleaning our country.
If it is to be, it is up to me. A Clean Kenya Starts With me.
Peace and blessings,
Odhiambo T Oketch
