There is no doubt that life has taken each one of us through so many different stages! Along the way,

1.We have lived with some people involving family members.
2.We have met and made friends.
3.We have gone to school with so many people.
4.We have attended the same church with some
5.We have worked with some in the same organization/facility/company

There was a time, when some of the people we have rubbed shoulders with were very close. We ate together, shared joy and frustration and considered some as great buddies!

At different stages,we were forced to drop and pick more friends.
At other times,we found ourselves forced to let go some friends and or relatives. Some of the parting has been but very bitter.

What, if anything, caused the lift which finally brought the relationship to a halt! It includes but not limited to some of the following:

1.Due to jealousy by some over the perceived success of their friend/relative.
2.Due to gossip.
3.Due to looking down upon others.
4.Due to arrogance.
5.Due to sudden change of attitude from positive to very negative.

While family members, fellow church members and friends have and will always change and treat us differently, there is one, who alone has always and will forever remain steadfast in His relationship-the man from Galilee-Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In the process of dropping and picking new friends, let us be careful lest we get mixed up and drop Him as well.

Yes, I will sure remain committed to my relationship with Him. How about you my dear friend!
