RE: VISION 2030 for KENYA – Big Joke!

Dear Countrymen,

It is most interesting to see this big hype about VISION 2030 – realizing the industrialization and economic dream for Kenya.

We are seeing politicians blow lots of hot air about the Vision and Ministries throwing big parties and seminars to convince all and sundry that come 2030 – Kenya will be there.

How on earth are we going to do this without involving the core engine of the process – Education and Teachers to be specific.

Dreams are great – but they come with a lot of hard work, dedication and focus.

Each homestead was to have tap water by year 2000. That was 8 years ago. How is your village doing on this one?

That hype about Vision 2030 is not a bad idea (Kimunya’s brainchild), gives us something to dream about but based on experience – it is just words. This is Kenya and we have been down that road more than once.

I think vision 2030 is a nightmare fooling innocent kenyans of what they dont understand. What good in a dream that will never materialise when majority of the Our country men in dire povetry.Take example of remote parts of the country Turkana, loima, the drought that is reeping across the country, how pathetic we watch in our big screens, sipping a mango juice, sprawled on cosy sofas at the expense of dying Nation. What a shame the big fish, yet you speak of a vision that will never visualise.Im core sure most of us will have died before that time, maybe due to hunger, and stress.Let keep aside hypocrisy, let be pragmatic.Picture this since the PEV we have never had a new constituition, let alone Agenda 4.Anan is back we will have nothing to show change.

Vision 2030 is just a dream. Am saying so because of our leaders who cannot stand by the truth. I love you all Kenyans.
