When it comes to what things I should remind God’s children, I find myself at a loss! Why so? Because I have found out that people chose what to remember and what not! Take a look at the following:
1.With an exception of children,no one reminds anyone to eat.
2.With an exception of children, teenagers, and young people, no one reminds anyone when to sleep.
3.With an exception of those who either like to sag pants or those who prefer wearing transparent clothes, no one reminds anyone that they need to dress.
4.With an exception of those kids that don’t like school, no one reminds students every day that school is on.
5.With an exception of those who don’t like to work or those who drink alcohol, no one reminds anyone every morning that they need to go to work!
6.With an exception of some men,no one needs to remind couples about their anniversary!
7.With an exception of people like myself, a lot of people remember their birth days!
In view of the fact that many of us do very well in remembering a lot of things,I find myself at a loss to note that many of those who supposedly love their God have chosen to be reminded almost everything to do with their Lord! Look @ the following:
1.Many of us like to be reminded to read our Bibles.
2.Many of us like to be reminded to pray daily.
3.Many of us like to be reminded to return to God what belongs to Him-tithe-and to give some offerings.
4.Many of us like to be reminded to remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.
5.Many of us like to be reminded of the need to be at church every week.
And so many are the times I find myself wondering loud and clear “Seeing that our God is everything to us, why don’t we remember His stuff the same way we do remember other stuff!”
Just a thought!
