When we started rolling out the Monthly Nationwide Clean-up Campaign, little did we know that the programme will be such well received by Kenyans.
We are happy that the first to embrace this concept were the City Council of Nairobi followed by the Municipal Council of Mombasa, the Municipal Council of Eldoret and the County Council of Wareng.
We are also happy that the Office of the Prime Minister and the Nairobi Metropolitan Development Ministry have shown the kind of willingness that supports the drive. More so, many Kenyans and the Civil Society have been the pillars upon which this programme has been ran and we want to sincerely thank all of you for this support, participation and partnership.
We will be in Kisii Town on the 17th June and we want to invite all Kenyans and People of Goodwill to be of support to us besides their participation. The DC Kisii Central, the Town Clerk Municipal Council of Kisii, Green Fingers International, the University Students and all our partners in Kisii are doing some great work to make the day a success. They need our collective support.
We need water, gloves, rakes, spades and any implement that can make work easier on that day. We are also inviting all those who are willing to support our administrative costs, travels and logistics to kindly get in touch with us. We will sincerely appreciate this support and partnership.
At the end of it all, Kenya is Marwa and we must help make Her Clean. We are looking to seeing more Kenyans turning out to join in voluntary Clean-ups in our various neighbourhoods.
If it is to be, it is up to me. A Clean Kenya Starts With me. A Peaceful Kenya is my Responsibility.
