As the world comes into grips with the financial turmoil, I saw an advertisement yesterday that got me thinking. It read: “If you got an egg, we have got a nest!”

The intend of the ad,is to invite customers to invest their money in this particular bank! Invest? Is it safe to invest money anymore?

Those with money,have found themselves asking hard questions this week! Somehow they have found themselves worrying of loosing money! In this one talk show, I heard the host asking a listener if he felt secure to have his money in the bank anymore! The answer was a flat no!

As a pastor, I would like to flame the ad so as to read:

“If you got a desire to go to heaven, I got the solution!”

Know what! I have taken time to reflect on this world over and over. Here is what keeps on popping up!

1.Whether we like it or not, this world will sure come to end one day
2.Every single day, I see the fulfillment of Bible prophecy
3.Things can change just like that. All the big companies that have been respected for many years are now at the very bottom!

It therefore goes without saying that let us invest in the heavenly kingdom whereby we will never be disappointed. Let us think less of this world and more on the heavenly issues.

I am truly willing to stay closer to my God!
