We want to register our appreciation to a benefactor for being the first corporate entity to respond to our call for support. Through their generous contribution vide a cheque in favour of Text Book Centre Ltd, they have effectively paid for all the Primary Mathematics books that we need plus Primary English for class 1 up to five. Our appreciation.

We are also happy that a lady from South Africa who called the undersigned and pledged her support which will pay for the 22 copies of Primary English Std 7. Our appreciation.

Mr Chris Kirubi has also indicated to us that he is mobilizing support for this Initiative. Many thanks. We need all the support we can get to make this happen, for in all small measures, we will achieve.

On 6th December, we will list our appreciation to all individuals and corporates that shall have made this happen.

We still need your support to make this programme be of benefit to the children we are working with across the 7 schools in Komarock and Kayole. And we only have 27 days to go.

Komarocks Community Development Network, is a Community Based Organization supporting 250 orphans and other children from poor family backgrounds through provision of educational materials.

We need the under listed items to enable these children to adequately access schooling for the year 2009. These children attend 7 different public schools in Komarock and Kayole of Embakasi Division. A detailed document on this programme is available on request..

Your support for this Initiative will help a needy child to have some uniform, some books, some shoes and have stationery. That contribution will bring light to the face of that child.

That contribution will empower our drive at The Network to be of more help to more needy cases.

If you are willing to be of support, you will be joining a team of willing Kenyans and companies who have decided to make a difference for these children. On 6th December 2008, we will list as we thank all those who shall have supported us in this initiative.

We will present these items to the children on 5th December 2008 at our offices in Komarock Phase 2. The key note speech will be delivered by Mrs Leah K Rotich, the Director of Basic Education at the Ministry of Education. Mr Nyota, the Deputy Director of Education at the City Council of Nairobi will be the assisting Guest.
