Isn’t it ironic that this people whose only contribution in my life has been to Impregnate my mother and run away should suddenly be asking me to save them.

Yours Truly

Maina,

Would he stand at a Democratic Convention to accept nomination and mention his Kenyan roots. I don’t think he would do that if he felt that low. We might look at issues differently here but one thing is that almost all of us (except you) are proud of Barack Obama Jr. and Kenya by extension.

Don’t you think this year has been a good one for Kenya despite January? No politician died in August, our sports teams have done us proud and now everyone is flocking Kogelo to see Obama’s roots. you’ve got to love your country!

We are leaving ina most interesting time when a skinny Luo boy can smoke bang, go to Havard, come out screeming change and get elected president of the USA, while the whole world cheers. Aii! Yawa……….! This is a pure niceness. What Plato would have described as “Ultimate final end-happiness.

President Barack Obama’s ties to Africa gave him the impetus he needed to get all Black people to rally around him the Mandela style. Indeed, it is this African connection that made many people look at him twice, instead of concluding that he was just another racist, hate filled disgruntled African American. He gained a lot of credibility by aligning himself with Africa and even the AAs themselves could not criticize him enough to bring him down. He is a wonderful eloquent leader and I supported him fully…..I even got a card for his inauguration……. and I wish him the best of luck in these troubled times.
