This is just an update. We have been mobilizing people of goodwill to help support our children with educational items listed below. Your support to this initiative could make one child have access to education.
To this extent, we extend our appreciation to the many people who have indicated that they will support. In the next 22 days, we have a daunting task ahead of us at Komarocks Community Development Network. On 5th December 2008, we will be giving what we shall have received to the 250 children at our offices in Komarock.
This is a transformation for the children that we believe in and we have decided to go out full blast to seek your support. Even if you take only one line in the list given below, it will help one needy child enjoy the fruits of going to school.
Even though we have lots of deserving cases, we have limited our initial programme to include only 7 schools with a total of 250 children namely;
1] Kayole 1 Primary School; 20 Children; 13 boys, 7 girls.
2] Mwangaza Primary school ; 21 children; 8 boys, 13 girls.
3] Imara Primary School ; 16 children; 6 boys, 10 girls.
4] Tumaini Primary School ; 61 children; 28 boys, 33 girls.
5] Busara Primary School ; 19 children; 11 boys, 8 girls.
6] Komarock Primary School ; 89 children; 40 boys, 49 girls.
7] Kayole Secondary School ; 20 children; 11 boys, 9 girls.
8] Independent children; 4; 2 boys, 2 girls.
Total; 250 children; 119 boys, 131 girls. We can give the list of these children on request.
We will present the under listed items to the children on 5th December 2008 at our offices in Komarock Phase 2. The key note speech will be delivered by Mrs Leah K Rotich, the Director of Basic Education at the Ministry of Education. Mr Nyota, the Deputy Director of Education at the City Council of Nairobi will be the assisting Guest.
