Why we won’t get a new Constitution before 2013

Dear All:

Here is why I am convinced that we won’t get the democratic constitution we crave… According to the Accord that was hastily entrenched in our constitution, the three and only reasons the Grand Coalition Government can lapse are:
1. If one of the partners (either PNU or ODM) pulls out;
2. If the 10th Parliament is dissolved for whatever reasons, including serving its full term;
3. If a new Constitution is ratified. Here Parliament is dissolved and we go for general elections.

HATA KAMA NI WEWE, CAN YOU ALLOW THE NEW CONSTITUTION TO SEE THE LIGHT OF THE DAY IF IT MEANS YOU ARE EFFECTIVELY SACKED?

I see no MP signing their own death warrants by allowing the Constitution to be made.

This is yet another of the 17 bad laws that our Parliament passed last year. Was it necessary to link the life of Parliament to the making of the Constitution?

Peace.
