In this world, one can give a silly answer to a silly question to show the “askee” that they are not the wiser in the asking of a question. For equally the same effect or better, one can give a clever answer to the same silly question. That folly of the “askee” be exposed in the asking of a silly question – and therefore the “superior genius” of the responder be “manifestly manifest”.
But seeing that there is nothing like a silly question, much less a silly answer, and there being no real genius. And all things being mere “voices of the wind”, a response shall not be forth comming. In short, If there is nothing to say, let us say nothing- that is keep silent.
Fare thee well

J.Nyongesa, I have come to the conclusion that you try hard to entertain yourself but at our expense. But again, this is your democratic space so you will continue to do so, that is, having your own internal/personal conversations with your person self. If this is what makes you most happy and confident to face the world, So be it!!!! And we, continue to endure! BTW, is your intention/objective of communicating to communicate??

This is the question that was posed before my face by a colleague at church. He asked this because he failed to reconcile the similarity of the English anthem and the Swa one -save the tune. I told him that the two agree in their dissimilarity but promised to follow the matter up.

Of course being boyz we talked about other stuff and the obvious topic that does not miss –women. For the problem of men(simple men) is still women and the problem of women is men. Of his resolutions this year is to hook upon which I asked him how come it is that. How come because I didn’t want to put him on the defensive with a “why?” after all we were still in church. The long and short of this is he gave excuses bethinking them to be reasons. We were in church and I had the good sense to not put him to task.

And now back to the problem of anthem. The problem of the anthem is kinda the same prob I have been having with what people call the bible and the real scriptures. There is such a variance as to scandalize any sober person. As for the translations, some are plain scandalous.

Good people, is Christianity serious? Christianity is clearly not serious.

Kenya has two anthems. The one English and the other in Swa….

Fare thee well.
