I was so busy scanning their merchandise, when another customer squeezed herself through making her way to another register! The husband said something to the other customer that I did not hear!

“Were you mean to her also?,” asked the wife with great concern! As if she knew that I wanted to know more, she added, “my hubby is usually so mean to people, and so, I must keep him in check!” I was indeed touched by what she said and wondered about its implications!

It used to be that parents kept their children in check, but as things stand, there are both wives and husbands that need to be monitored on what they say and do! Why so?

You see, things like relationships take along time to form but only seconds to destroy for sometime, if not for ever!

Besides, if one is not careful about what they say or do, they will alienate many and thus find themselves alone and isolated!

So it really boils down to this! Since you know what kind of material your husband/wife is made of, and that which he or she is capable of doing to cause drama, you may as this lady, do everything possible, but in love and patience to keep your hubby or wife in check! Will you please?
