The Town Clerk at the City Council of Nairobi Mr. Philip Kisia yesterday joined Mavuno Mashariki Church members, the Residents of Donholm and the Friends of KCDN in launching the Donholm Clean-up Campaign in an event that was also attended by area DO Ms C Torome, Ms Janet Ongera of KCDN- [Director of Green Fingers International and the Executive Director at ODM]. Ms Margaret Otieno- the National Coordinator of the Wildlife Clubs of Kenya, Mr. Daniel Juma of Global Peace Youth Corps, Cllr Isaac Joyce of Gucha, Mr. Norman Magaya- Chairman ODM Youth 2012, Pst Richard Chogo of Mavuno Church and many more guests.

The Town Clerk appreciated the resolve by the members of Mavuno Church and Friends of KCDN in organizing the Monthly Nationwide Clean-up Campaigns across Kenya and in Nairobi specifically. He promised his and the Council’s continued support in ensuring that Nairobi regained her lost glory.

He is also Chair to the Nyamonye Catholic Church Development Fund.He was also the Co-Chair and Coordinator of The Great Nairobi Walk against Corruption that was held in Nairobi on the 22nd October 2010. He is the Convener of the upcoming 2nd Edition of the Great Nairobi Walk against Corruption to be held on the 21st October 2011 in Nairobi Kenya.
