Folks,
Both Kibaki and Raila have reasonable cause for Violation, Crime and material support aiding corruption, impunity and graft….all criminal acts, pain and suffering were done under their watch, with none coming out to complain to the public or joining with the public to stamp and seal these behaviors. They both colluded and filled for each other sharing the loot in the corruption, graft and impunity…the result of their backroom wheeler dealer negotiation………
Keep up Marende for demanding for the truth………This is the only way we will get to the bottom of the facts…….
Cheers ….. !!!

Kenya: MPs Attack Kibaki, Raila Over Corruption
Francis Mureithi
9 September 2011
PRIME Minister Raila Odinga yesterday came under fire in Parliament with MPs accusing him and President Kibaki of protecting individuals implicated in corruption.
MPs accused Raila of evading the request by the Speaker to make a statement yesterday on why Moses Wetang’ula was reappointed as the Foreign Affairs minister and Mwangi Thuita as Permanent Secretary before investigations into the questionable purchase of the Kenyan embassy in Japan were concluded.
On Wednesday Speaker of National Assembly Kenneth Marende instructed the Prime Minister to make a statement on the Auditor-General’s report tabled earlier this week. Yesterday morning Raila called Marende and they agreed that he could deliver the statement next Tuesday. The MPs yesterday also demanded that Attorney General Githu Muigai issue a legal opinion on the reinstatement of Wetang’ula and Thuita.
The legislators dismissed the explanation by Transport minister and Deputy Leader of Government Business Amos Kimunya that Raila had a busy schedule as he was attending a conference on drought as well as the burial of freedom fighter Wambui Otieno.
The Auditor General has recommended that all officials and individuals involved in the acquisition of the Tokyo property be held to account. Khalwale said Finance minister Uhuru has been sitting on the report instead of tabling it in Parliament thereby violating the Public Audit Act.
Khalwale said the AG also prepare a legal opinion on the Grand Regency deal and the reinstatement of Amos Kimunya into government. Uhuru denied receiving the report by the Auditor General but undertook to ask Treasury officials if the report had been sent to his office.
Foreign Relations Committee chairman Adan Keynan demanded that Raila also table reports from the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission, the CID, the Efficiency Monitoring Unit or any other arm of government that indicated Wetang’ula and Thuita had been cleared. “I don’t remember in the last nine months any report on the investigations touching the ministry of Foreign Affairs,” he said.
Aden Duale (Dujis) said the matter was of great importance and called on the Speaker to compel the executive to explain. Duale, who was relieved of his ministerial duties recently, accused Raila and Kibaki of protecting certain individuals. “The people of this country are waiting for answers,” he said.
Gitobu Imanyara (Central Imenti) said that if Raila was so busy, Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka should issue the statement since he was the Leader of the Ggovernment Business in the House. Marende told the House that Raila had visited his office yesterday morning and explained that he was in a dilemma since he was required to co-chair the summit on drought. Marende directed that Raila issue the statement next Tuesday.
