From: Joram Ragem
Tonight, I have a vision.
My 10th great grandfather Ragem appeared to me. He asked me to remove the cobwebs from the eyes of one Raila Amolo Odinga and make him see things the unusual way.
My 10th great grandfather Ragem says thus: Raila Odinga, do not run for nominations for ODM. Yes, you heard me right. Let Mudavadi become the ODM presidential candidate.
Here is why. If you allow competition, it is their intention that ODM gets sandbagged with nomination disagreements, defections and even court cases. If you insist on nomination, ODM will not present a presidential candidate in time to the IEBC. Verily I say unto you, if ODM insists on nominations it has been afore planned that ODM will fail to reach consensus, and will be time barred for the upcoming elections. Yes, their intent is to make you and ODM the Marabou Stalk. Yes they are the Hyenas waiting to laugh the loudest sir. Cant you see? ODM is infiltrated by those determined to block you from the presidency. All the polls that have come up so far indicate you are the front runner. This is not a lie. Many a politician are fixated on beating you. Many are coalescing to form alliances to amass the strength to overcome your time tested resilience. You say that competition in ODM is healthy democracy. That is a lie baba: “democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the others”
On your part, here is what you must do. Run for the presidency as an independent. ODM and friendly parties must realize that, as things stand, it will be almost an impossibility to win with a 50 plus one vote. It is almost a certainty that there will be a run-off between the top two. Since all the others are intent on blocking you or the ODM candidate, and are forming alliances yet planing on running separately so the best performer is guaranteed support, so should be your strategy with Mudavadi. Either of you must be prepared to support the best performer but after the first round of the general election.
As for what people will think of you if it bothers your conscience, My10th great grandfather says thus: The child thinks the doctor is evil when the latter injects him with Quinine to cure the Malaria.

I am Joram, You Are Not.
Yes, Joram Kaulikazi Ragem, wuod Ndinya, wuod Onam, wuod Amolo, wuod Owuoth, wuod Oganyo, wuod Mumbe, wuod Odongo, wuod Olwande, wuod Adhaya, wuod Ojuodhi, wuod Ragem (You may be my relative, but it matters less now. This is New Kenya!)
A well thought out strategy. However, running as an independent, despite its good prospects is potentially risky. Even if Raila qualifies for a run off as suggested by Mr. Ragem if he runs as independent candidate, he would not have elected mps on his side to assist him in the run off campaigns. The MPs who shall have been elected on ODM ticket would treat him as an outsider. The same MPS would rally on the side of Mudavadi i f he also qualifies for a run off since in him they would see someone who if a father figure to the party that shall have contributed to their wins. It is common knowledge that some MPs today support Raila because he contributed to their wins in the last elections and the same will apply in their support of Mudavadi. Mr. Ragem’s proposal is the most dangerous and the best Raila should do asap is to come out hummer and tongs and campaign vigorously to win the ODM presidential primaries.
Ragem,Believe if you want Men are never Equal,Some are More than others But Raila Remains the strongestman in Continent! If Musalia wants to rule he can join the night leaders for Raila as the Nation darling is our own Day!Your opion poll was true but you made it at night!Raila has only one eye but in State HOUSE why because He want give the STATE BACK to kenyan because majority of men inside belongs to Hague for fanning violene on kenyan CITIZEN.Rais have 80% OF KENYAN VOTES AND WE CAN’T AFFORD TWO ELECTIONS WHEN PEOPLE HAVE NO PARAFFIN
If Raila defects again, that will be the last nail in his political coffin! Raila Oding should stay in ODM so that he can break the jinx of never going into two subsequent elections under the same Party! (1992-FORD K, 1997-NDP, 2002-NARC, 2007-ODM!!!). Secondly, Raila & Co. should bend backwards and accomodate Mudavadi’s demands…then go ahead and defeat him hands down. Even if nominations were done at Locational level, leave alone County, Raila will still win simply because most of the delegates ARE IN ODM BECAUSE OF RAILA! In areas hostile to Agwambo like Central, Rift Valley & Eastern, only his most loyal diehards were elected, and they know the loyalty levels of all other delegates. So pple should stop this cheap propaganda that Mudavadi can beat Raila. Harassing him out of the Party is what is most dangerous because out there he can be adopted by Raila’s enemies and be used as a unifying candidate!
Ojuok Ogutu & Opado,
I challenge us to think a little differently than we have usually done. Raila is still the most popular & influential leader in Kenya. Raila can today say, I am forming Independent Party of Kenya, and many who run under this outfit will win. Yet I am not advocating for RAO to form another party. We are tired of this rubbish. Let me remind you one thing we all know but have not said it openly in the past. In 2002, when Moi turned Kigeugeu and orchestrated project Uhuru, he outdid Raila or so he thought. The only option RAO had was to defect en mass with Saitoti, Kalonzo, etc. Raila realized it was too late for him to form another party and put up a spirited campaign that would defeat Moi’s project. Believe me, Raila could have run if the option to run as an independent was there. Left with no option, he decided on a ‘Dawa ya moto, ni moto’ strategy and said Kibaki Tosha. It worked. In the last elections. We thought only in a straight line. We won, yes, but were outdone at ICC. The only option that turned things around was that Achieng’ heeded the call not to accept the results. This time, let us think differently. Why? Lets use the unusual way to elect RAO with an overwhelming majority. How? Thank goodness the new constitution you and I supported so much allows for one to run as an independent. Realize that there is a scheme wider than you and I can fathom. This involves use of all intelligent sources including NSIS to block RAO from not only state house, but getting to be a candidate in the first place. You saw the fake Bristish Gov report, and heard Kibaki’s biased interpretation of the judges ruling regarding election date. ODM infiltration strategy is already working. One apparent plot is to delay elections as much as possible, which is by March 2013 as Kibaki is already stating. Then, in the event RAO is a candidate, deny him 50+1 vote to force a run-off. At the run off, they hope to gang up and support whoever is in the run off with Agwambo. If RAO runs as an independent, contrary to your opinion that he will not have MPs supporting him, he will win by more than 50+1 and there will be no need for a run off. Let us not worry about whom he will work with once he is president.
Ojuok & Opado, I admire your passion, but pls be informed that some of your logics are fallacious to the extreme. If Raila left ODM now for Mudavadi to be the flagbearer, the most obvious assumption will be he ran away from the Party when someone else defeated him…or on sensing defeat! You also 4get that when Moi shortchanged Raila in KANU, he actually formed a Party-LDP! Without a Party, we’ll miss out on the political party funding. Mudavadi will still run on ODM, enjoying all the ODM goodwill! Believe you me, the best option for RAO is to compete within ODM, then compete with ODM and win!
Among the potential candidates for Kenya next President,it is only Raila who can
implement the new onstitution to the latter. Other candidates are mostly Moi’s political ophanes who are for the old constitution. The moment one of them takes
the presidency, this new constittion will not be implemented to the letter.
Therefore ,kenyans should be aware of people like Kalonzo, Mudavadi,Ruto, Uhuru
and Saitoti. These are stata quo leaders who keep on dreaming everyday how to make quick money. They are remnant of homeguard politics which the colonial government left behind to deny ordinary kenyans true socio-eonomic and political
benefit of Uhuru. The se are selfish politicians who are ready to amass wealth at the
expence of kenyans through corruption and deals. While ordinary kenyans are not
see their scheme. This is because they have managed to blind kenyans by creating
one major disease, TRABALISM.
