During the PM’s address to the Harvard/Cambridge community that was also attended by a good number of kenyans, Hon. Michuki walked out in protest as the Prime Minister touched on issues of corruption and impunity in Kenya.
Immediately after, the Kenya Ambassador to Washington walked out as well and followed Hon Michuki, and the crowd was left wondering who the ambassador representing at the Harvard forum — Hon Michuki or the PM Raila Odinga. However, the PM continued with his speech and Q&A session while his Ambassador left him on hos own and they never came back again.
My conclusion — the Coalition govt has a long way to go. Infighting and jostling for power was quite evident during the PM’s visit to America.

Subject: Hon Michuki walks out on PM during speech at Harvard
TYPICAL! That is all I can say of the Harvard walkout on the Prime Minister by Michuki et al.
Strange, isn’t it? Why was Hon Michuki tagged on Mr. Odinga? I think it is about Haguemania.

We have come of age.
Did you know these people were leaving for Kenya immediately?
How do you know it was a protest?
How did you become my dispora spokesperson and I have never heard of you before?
If Michuki gave the shoot to kill the non-GEMA COMMUNITIES order during the 27th December 2007 presidential post elections violence and more than 1,500 innocent democratic souls were sent to their early graves, how do you expect him to side with the Prime Minister Amolo Odinga at Harvard as the latter talked on evil of impunity, corruption, extrajudicial killings?
Ambassador Ogego is Kibaki’s appointee serving PNU! How do you expect him to sit tight and listen when a lecture against the masters of graft, impunity and extra-judicial killings are being exposed at an open free university-Harvard?
President Kibaki’s letter to president Barack Obama is godsend as it confirms to the World and the ICC at The Hague that in Kenya impunity is the norm. The International Community has now heard it direct from the boss.
Luis Moreno Ocampo should not be too happy as he starts to investigate the perpetrators of the 27th December 2007 post elections violence since from early this year all civil servants have been ”gagged” by the PNU government by making them sign the ”secrets oath” that prevents them from spilling the beans to the ICC or anybody else.
Michuki was asked to mark Raila as the latter played striker for Kenya and the former, defender for Mamlukis. Raila did an inside cut and scored at Harvard, outside cut and scored at the Obama luncheon, kanzu and goal at the UN. On extra time, he scored at the museum photo op. Final score – Raila 4:0 Michuki lol!

(a) Robert Ouko was murdered after agreeing with something President George Bush Senior said regarding relinquishing power to younger generation.
(b) I would not put much faith on the invitation at Harvard because the people who arrange these talks are opportunists who play both sides of the card and sometimes with deadly consequences to the person invited. They are only on the side of the person who can take care of their interests.
(c) The Kibaki group have very cordial relationship with Harvard University because most of their Public Relations people come from Harvard! Remember, not all that glitters is gold!
MICHUKI WALKS OUT ON RAILA AMOLO ODINGA,HARVARD UNIVERSITY SEPTEMBER 2009
Food for thought!
Did Ambassador Ranneberger side with Kibaki on the 30th Decembeer 2007 without batting an eye as Raila’s 80% win went to nought?
DR. ODIDA OKUTHE
All,
I was at Harvard for this event. Mr. Michuki and Ogego were there for the entirety of the speech but walked out during the Q&A. It was fairly obvious that the questions would predictably center on corruption, election rigging, human rights abuses, freedom of the press and the Hague/post-election violence.
Michuki may have tagged along to keep RAO in check and the ambassador was probably there by protocol. But it is obvious that all is not well within the government – people like michuki still think we live in the 60’s and 70’s where if you did not like someone’s politics, you eliminated them.
Besides, one of the key organizers of the Harvard event, a kenyan professor at the Kennedy school is a kibaki apologist, sits on several phony PNU created boards like the economic commission and extremely inept intellectually judging by several op-ed articles in kenyan dailies and his few academic publications. He has a record of not mentoring Kenyans within the institutions at the university.
Harvard is a big stage for anyone, including RAO. He made the best of the opportunity to distance himself from the devils in Kenya.
As her husband, Raila should retire.
I have a dream that one day my children will grow up in a country where they will not be judged by their ethnicity but by the content of their character.
