KENYA: UNKNOWN THUGS RAIDED PRESIDENT BARACK BAMA’S KENYAN RURAL FAMILY HOME AND STOLE TELEVISION SET.

The Nyang’oma Kogelo rural family home of the US President Barack Obama was on Wednesday night this week raided by unknown thugs who stole a television set.

The thugs whose numbers remained unknown raided the homestead of President Obama elder step brother Mali Abong’o Obama, which is adjacent to the home of the step grand mother Mama Sarah Obama.

Malik Obama expressed fears that his family could be targeted by unknown enemies. The incident took place at about 10 P.M {Local time} after the family had gone to sleep. The television set was locked inside a pavilion

The theft occurred despite of the presence of a strong contingent of policemen who are guarding the family home on twenty four hour exercise.

The Kogelo Nyang’oma Police Station is barely 50 meters way, while the gates leading to Mama Sarah Obama’s home compound has several sentries working on twenty four hours security protection.

Life and that of his family and urged the Kenyan government to beef up the police patrol of the area.

He said there has been numerous incidents of similar theft. On one occasion his two smart mobile phones were stolen. He had reported the incident to the police, but none of the missing phone has been retrieved from anyone.

“If anything happens to me and my family the blame should be shouldered by the forces of law reinforcement in this area,”

Malik Obama has declared that he will vie for the Alego-Usonga parliamentary seat comes the next general election on the ticket of a political party he has yet to name.

One impeccable source intimated that the suspects could be one of the many youths who have been milling around the home on daily basis when Malik called his supporters for briefing.

Political pundits, however, have dismissed Mali Obama as a non-starter saying he had no capacity of winning the seat which is expected to attract the troops of other aspirants, most of the university professors and wealthy businessmen and farmers.

Malik Obama said the latest incident came only few months after his two mobile phones were stolen from his home. Despite having reported the incident to the police no arrest has been made.

He further explained that a number of robberies have occurred at the Nyang’oma Kogelo market in the recent past, but no arrest has been made although the new police station is only about 50meters away from the trading center, and the local fears for the worse.

In another incident the thieves had robbed guard manning construction equipments which are used I the construction of the new road passing through her trading centre. A security guard was recently injured hen thieves cut him with machetes on a mission to steal equipments from the construction company.

However, Police spokesman at the Siaya Divisional Police, however, dismissed Obama’s allegation saying that the police may only institute investigations after a member of the public had lodged complaint with them. In the case of Malik Obama he had yet to make any report to the police.

Malik appeared before the newsmen while flanked by his mother Grace Kezia Obama.
