Tension is high within Voice of Salvation and Healing Church in Kisumu with the members of the congregation accusing Bishop Winnie Owiti wife of the ailing church’s founder Archbishop Silas Owiti of up surging his roles which is leading to mass walkout of members of the church saying Winnie’s move is aimed at “overthrowing” Archbishop Owiti from the church leadership.
The members says that the church which has its branches within the entire East and Central Africa is likely to disintegrate if the current goings on by Bishop Winnie is not checked and stopped by the church’s trustees.
They accuse Bishop Winnie of recently conniving with her sycophants to endorse her as the predecessor of her ailing husband under the guise that he was senile and incapable of running the church actively.
“The dust has not settled when she declared herself as the head of our church and again she has brought some quarters to grant her an honorary doctorate so that it puts her at par with her husband so that her leadership becomes legitimate” one angered member of the church who never wanted her name revealed who is opposed to her leadership style lamented.
The members are also accusing their self-imposed Bishop Winnie of discarding elders of the church who had steered the church to its present state through reshuffles which has not been endorsed by the church organs and without the knowledge of Archbishop Owiti whom she says has lost his memory and has made sure that no any church adherent nor officials can access him at his Kisumu’s Milimani home where she has hired goons to keep vigil on her husband so that no one sees Archbishop Owiti and only through her advice and consent.
A cross section of church members interviewed in regard to the goings on within Voice of Salvation and Healing Church are also accusing Bishop Winnie of subjecting her husband to her current state as she has really frustrated the old man and abandoned him at a time the man of God needed her physical support most.
“She has a tendency of staying away from home for as a long as one month or more under the guise of doing missionary work which the church leadership has not sanctioned nor is aware of leading her to abandon her husband under the care of maids who cannot handle the old man better” one official of the church who never wanted his name be published lamented saying they cannot access Archbishop Owiti and they do not presently know his condition nor his whereabouts saying perhaps their Archbishop might be “dead”.
Older members of the church who were in the steering committees of the church have so far been replaced by Bishop Winnie’s “yes men” as she says that she is restructuring the church’s organization.
“We are not against the church being geared for better organization but divine intervention should be upheld and not physical orchestration whose aim is to make one the church’s leadership through unorthodox means” one elder of the church added.
Meanwhile a cross section of Nyanza Clergy has won Bishop Owiti to go slow and stop antagonizing and divided men of cloth within the region as she expand her “reign and territory ”.
“After messing Voice Of Salvation and Healing Church she is now targeting respective churches dividing members and selecting people whom she is so safe to work with, we are soon calling her to reprimand in love and tell her the teaching of the bible in regard to leadership, should she refuse then we will not count her as one of our own” one clergy based in Kisumu said.
Efforts to get comment from Bishop Winnie were fruitless as she never replied back short messages written to her not called back as she promised.
I am reading this article in alot of sadness beause Archbishop Silas Owiti is Godly person who has been a pillar in the developments of his people. He has built many churches and schools for his people in Ahero. The sickness of the archbishop should
be diagnosed bya competent doctor who can recommend proper treatment locally or overseas.It is shameful to leave,as jakochogo,our few remaining clan leaders
to die helplessly.Whether the reporter is right ,this report is not meant to help the
family of Archbishop’s family and relatives. It looks the report is degrade the hardwork Bishop Winnie is doing to keep the church moving. It is a scandalising report which is too unprofessional for a journalist worth a name.
As brothers in blood and christ, we keep on praying for the sick Archbishop to recover, and his family to ignore such report which lacks respectof personal privacy
of individuals.

I am disgusted by men and women who claim they care i personally know Archbishop Silas Owiti much more than most people do,a clearly wonderful man with a heart of gold who has assisted people in luo nyanza as a whole.The greatest mistake happened ions ago when relatives if His wife took it upon themselves to slowly but surely pillage church affairs and used the churchs money and status in that society for their economical gain .It is sad fir he us an ailing man without no adequate hospital care and is languishing at home without any care.Is this the sort of thankyou we give to honorable men in our society, if is is then jokochogo you have a long eay to go and you as a people will slide into oblivion, whrn the powerless leaders are beng abused and brutalised in their homes and you sit in church waiting for maana from heaven yet the money that you give to the church enriches others that do not even share your common belief and spirituality have u forgotten the man who since the 50’s had educated your folk has walked miles so that you have a future and you do not even have the nerve to get him a wheelchair or help him on his death bed shame on you voice of salvation.and healing church your money is worthless to people who font deserve it you and your.ilk are killing a good man who had contributed and spread the word all over the world shame on you
I wonder which Kingdom (of God or of the devil), this article is trying to promote. Jesus says, “If your brother (sister) is at fault, go and talk to him between the two of you alone. If he doesn’t listen to you then take with you two or three brothers … then the church and so on. Paul also teaches us to restore with meekness a brother caught in sin. I am not sure whether there is room for negative publicity of a dear brother or sister in Christ.
Let us be careful lest we get immersed into baseless church politics. Our role is to pray for the leaders without appearing to usurpe God’s divine authority of appointing and bringing down leaders. Let not the enemy distract us from the race to eternal life. Instead let us work out salavtion with fear and trembling.

Am writing to express my concern about this project somebody by the name Sila from Alego Kalkada is doing. There alot of shoddy things going on. He is a member of VOSH Kisumu. let him be transparent with the funds he gets from donors in Canada. and by the way he’s married to a Canadian lady but of late he has been seen moving around with a young lady who is in ‘baby steps’ of salvation.
I’m really sad for the people who write such things. You are fighting over leadership to my point of view. Its only God who can deal with you. This is not the right way to solve conflict especially in between christian. I have no words to tell you but very sorry for your lives. Ask God for forgiveness because we are not suppose to judge and condemn. Its only God who has such powers. Your tongue is powerful and be careful. You have mistaken the reason why you should be in fellowship.
These are the days when true worshipers will worship in the spirit, It according to how your spirit leads you.
It’s shocking to meet such mess to a great woman of God like I really know mama to be. I am sure this article is simply in bad taith since this is the time mama needs us most for support having to pray and take care of daddy as she also feels the gap left when he is in hospital. Who said daddy is feared dead? This is scandalous! Wish daddy quick recovery in Jesu name. Let’s pray for our spiritual leader and block all satanic whispers.
Please Bishop Winnie, continue supporting your husband that the Lord has given you and run the affairs of the Church with him and for Jesus! I was there a few years ago as a visitor and I saw how you and your husband had worked hard and I believe you need to show yourself as an upright woman taking care of your husband, showing him your emotional and romantic support and your spiritual support. Do not allow the Devil to use u looking for power or money because this is not why he has created you! God bless

In light of the immanent appearing of The Lord of the Church (September 2014) to withdraw His people back home to the Father, and the impending doom of the world powers, the following 7 years look very dark indeed for everyone left behind.
Either rejoice or cringe, depending on where you stand, by the year 2021 the world will be the Lord’s and “hasatan” in the pit (Rev.4:1-5:14). Give God the glory for we shall all give an account of what we have done while in the body, good or bad.

Pastures Debbie and John Fair are attacking the black community to get funds and turning around and buying 5,000 art pieces for their claim of a safe home. “They have no safe home”. John told me to my face that he lied to the court to get a criminal out of jail once, claiming he had a safe home for him.. I did work for the 2 of them at their new place in Frisco Texas. Not only did he go against his word of how much he would pay me but they took 140.00 of food of mine from my food stamps and left me for dead in 105 degree weather with no way home. And they also told me I couldn’t go for a walk outside. I am homeless and he said he had work for me and I did the work and did not get paid what he said he would pay. I gave up my job in Austin because of his lie, claiming I would make enough to buy my trailer that I wanted. He speaks only of negativity and how he was in a coma for 3 years every time I sat in front of him. I began to not want to sit in the same room as him due to his speech only surrounding his comforts. He persisted that I looked at starving African children and kept showing me a picture of a African child drinking urine from a cows private parts before bedtime, I ended up after multiple times of him showing me this just getting up and walking away telling him I could not look at these pictures anymore. He judged me negatively for that. He would sit in his library all day long every day ordering art, while His wife Debbie and I did all the work around the house they had just moved in. And when the day was over he would say each time that no work was accomplished that day., when in fact he never even took a second to see if work was done. He is cruel, unjust, a liar, and flaunts demonic pictures to the helpless. From the second I woke up to the minute I went to sleep I was doing work. I did not get a single day off. I couldn’t even wash my face and use the bathroom in the morning because I was beckoned instantly when I awoken and they did not bother to care about my needs. They took my food stamps and never paid me for what he had said he would. John told me he would give me 2000 for my home and never received it. He cons people and I have witnesses, I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE.. I am not on here to seek revenge, I am on here to inform that this couple no where near live the life of who they claim to be. This is the third time I have witnessed both Debbie and John lie blatantly to the week.. He uses his card to purchase high value items and puts them on a tax report claiming them for a safe house.. His house lies, as well as he.. Please for the Love of God help this issue to cease under the name of the Lord.. I was abandoned for not wanting to sit in front of John for hours at a time just to listen to his negativity.. He would say. “I have a problem”, when no problem existed. He would also say,”No work is getting done,” when I have been working all day.. There is much more to this than just these things, I do not want anyone getting ripped off and mentally shun down by him anymore. He was weakened because I kept quiet and he couldn’t tell who I was as a person, I was there to work not be manipulated to sit and in a room and listen to his woes, everyone has woes, please pass this on. Am very sorry about this issue of rejcted bishop, i just want urge my fellow christians to stop on lamenting on this issue plz. we are puting our house in order, the story is tastless
