I was appalled to see ex- President Daniel arap Moi playing silly politics when he went “condole” the family of the late Professor George Saitoti. I felt so bad that I posted my disgust on my facebook wall for the world. Moi has NOT changed an iota otherwise he would have been wise enough to be sensitive to the family of the late Professor Saitoti by not speaking carelessly when he knows very well that what he was saying is not what he means.

This is NOT acceptable because it is very inhumane to say this to Mrs. Saitoti at this trying moment; the world knows how Moi humiliated Professor Saitoti in public in 2002 because of selfish interests (the need to cover up, through Project Uhuru Kenyatta, his past misdeeds and to protect ill-acquired wealth when he ruled Kenya by an iron fist).

If one does not have anything sensible to say then don’t say it. Let Moi retire in forced retirement peacefully and he should desist from reminding Kenyans of the dark past of his tyrannical reign by acting careless and recklessly. Let Moi leave a sleeping dog to sleep without provocation. WATCH THE VIDEO and be the JUDGE!

I am disgusted by this attitude of double speak by Kenyan politicians. What a shame!
