Dear Fellow Kenyan,

It is with sorrow and grief that I notify you of the death of Mr Obed Rakamba Chweya today morning at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi after a long illness bravely borne. Until his demise, Obed was a lecturer at MKU-Kigali and a staunch member and supporter of AKR.

Please join me in condoling with the family, friends and the entire MKU fraternity. Funeral arrangements will be communicated to you later.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
