KENYA: WABUKALA CASTIGATES POLITICIANS OVER POLLS

Anglican Arch Bishop Eliud Wabukalla has strongly castigated a clique of “selfish” politicians who are pushing that the next General Elections be held in August 2013 instead of March 2013.Speaking in Boya in Nyando District Kisumu County during working tour in the regions diocese, Wabukala said that Kenyans have already tuned their minds for the march 2013 polls and any attempt to reschedule it will be contested to the bitter end.

During a morning press briefing at the home of a Nairobi business man Erick Okeyo who is also a staunch member of Anglican church,wabukhala appealed for calm and humility ahead of the elections.

He further emphasised the need for restrain among the communities and said dialogue should be key whenever there is a stalemate or misunderstanding.
The routine pastoral work by the Arch Bishop will extend to four Diocess a move which has seen a sharp growth of the faithfuls in the region in the last few years since he took the mantle of leadership.He was accompanied by the Bishop of maseno South Diocess Mwai Abiero.
