From: Judy Miriga

It is sad that the GOP Reps and the Conservative group launches robocall campaign to impeach President Obama………Is there an engineering going on that we do not know…..???…….Was there a conspiracy theory going on against President Obama because he is black, Racial conspiracy against any black who do not prescribe to their liking ??? Is that why President Obama is being hated with a passion however much he tries to do good..??

Is this it, that the Rich and Powerful have a direct ticket to intimidate and oppress as they wish and please, and that they must have their way by hooks and crooks in the Free Trading Enterprising ??? Will the Truth be known ??? People, it is wrong to buy into this theory of conspiracy if truely the spanners are at work……..The enemies of America’s progress and success are keenly watching and waiting to strike upon our weakest point of vulnerability…..People must wake up and ask, who will benefits when America is devided and is fully destrited frin selfishness and greed of the minority Rich and Wealthy…….???

We must not give the Enemy an opportunity to devide and destroy our peace we share in unity……………The world need peace and the world is looking for America to lead and unite the world under peace, and we cannot afford to be destructed…..Wake up people, wake up…..!!!…The last thing America want is war by itself, or war in its own house………..

Wisdom is calling…….There is only one thing we miss to be able to solve and fix our problem…..It is Love……if we love, we shall not hate, if we love, we shall care and share in the goodness of livelihood and survival….if we love, together we shall cooperate to build what makes America respected and loved in the whole world……Then we will care to consider that Elections are over, it is time to unite to build our future the best way we know how……cooperating in Nation Building……..!!!

House, Senate Committees Want to Know What Petraeus Knew about Benghazi

Published on Nov 16, 2012 by Roberta Petterson
One week after former CIA Director David Petraeus stepped down because of an extramarital affair, he headed back to Capitol Hill for intelligence briefings. As CNN’s Emily Schmidt reports, the House and Senate Intelligence Committees want to know what he knew about the Benghazi attack that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and 3 other Americans. David Petraeus ended a week in the spotlight behind closed Congressional doors. The attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya has become a political issue over when the Obama Administration knew what prompted the attack: spontaneous reaction to an anti-Muslim video, or terrorists. Then-CIA Director Petraeus briefed lawmakers in September. Now, impressions of that meeting are mixed. Congressman King said Petraeus testified he had no direct involvement in developing the talking points used by Susan Rice. In early days after the attack, the U.S. Ambassador to the UN pointed to the film as a potential cause. Lawmakers say Petraeus was asked little about his admitted affair with Biographer Paula Broadwell. Petraeus reportedly was not under oath while testifying, a nod to the job he held, before it was lost in a scandal.

One secret reason Petraeus had to resign
By The Week’s Editorial Staff | The Week – Thu, Nov 15, 2012

He was in the nuclear chain of command
When he admitted having an extramarital affair with Paula Broadwell, CIA Director David Petraeus, as a senior civilian in the presidential chain of command should something go catastrophically wrong in Washington, violated special behavior codes for officials who might one day be forced to execute nuclear strikes.

In classified presidential emergency action documents, the CIA director is among the dozens, if not hundreds of officials who are listed as National Command Authority successors in the event that higher ranking officials are no longer able to do their jobs.

Because under certain circumstances he’d have ready access to the nuclear satchel, Petraeus was indoctrinated into the Personnel Reliability Program, which evaluates and monitors the lifestyle and behavior of Americans with access to nuclear command and control mechanisms. Adultery is not a minor sin under the PRP rules.

The details of so-called “nuclear pre-delegation” is one of the most tightly held secrets in the U.S. Government. The first 18 presidential successors are spelled out by law. But it is not clear whether the pre-delegation lists follow the Constitutional chain of command.

After retiring as a general, Petraeus was confirmed by the Senate as a civilian, and was probably given emergency action training by the White House Military Office, which runs the Continuity of Government program. In that role, he could serve as one of the two people needed to confirm codes that would key Permissive Action Links (PALs) and activate launch sequences, adhering to the U.S. Strategic Command’s two-person rule for nuclear weapons. Precisely what would need to happen for an official like Petraeus to be in the catbird seat is classified, the result of decades of highly secret rules and provisions that are kept locked in safes.

And so seriously does the U.S. government take the PRP that if a missile wing commander is scheduled to get a wisdom tooth extraction, he or she must notify the squadron’s PRP officer, who will transfer power to the deputy commander until the commander’s doctor certifies in writing that he or she is able to function normally again.

When Petraeus conceded having an affair to DNI James Clapper, Clapper had several reasons to insist on his resignation, one of which was the director’s exalted position in COG programs. Another was simply that the CIA director is held to a higher standard of trust and rectitude by foreign officials, who might take strategic advantage of his public embarrassment.

The current nuclear war plan for the United States is numbered “OPLAN 8010-08” and entitled “Strategic Deference and Global Strike.”

In Benghazi testimony, Petraeus says al Qaeda role known early

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Former CIA Director David Petraeus told Congress on Friday that he and the spy agency had sought to make clear from the outset that September’s deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, involved an al Qaeda affiliate, lawmakers said.

Petraeus told lawmakers “there were extremists in the group” that launched the attack on the diplomatic mission, describing them as affiliates of al Qaeda and other groups, said Representative C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger, the top Democrat on the House of Representatives intelligence committee.

“The fact is that he clarified it,” Ruppersberger said.

Petraeus appeared behind closed doors before the House and Senate intelligence panels the week after quitting his CIA post because of an extramarital affair. He made no public remarks.

Another lawmaker, Republican Representative Peter King, said Petraeus’ account in the closed-door session differed from the assessment the CIA chief gave to Congress two months ago, just days after the September 11 attack that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.

“He also stated that he thought all along he made it clear that there were significant terrorist involvement, and that is not my recollection of what he told us on September 14,” King said.

Petraeus last week admitted to an affair with his biographer, Paula Broadwell. Lawmakers said a somber Petraeus told them his resignation had nothing to do with issues related to Benghazi or any reluctance to testify before Congress.

“The general did not address any specifics of the affair, of that issue,” Democratic Representative Jim Langevin said. “What he did say in his opening statement was that he regrets the circumstances that led to his resignation.”
The assault on the U.S. mission and nearby CIA annex in Benghazi has turned into a flash point between President Barack Obama, a Democrat, and Republicans.

Republicans accuse the White House and in particular the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, of misleading the public just after the attack by suggesting the assault was a spontaneous act instead of a planned terrorist operation. The Obama administration denies misleading anyone and says it discussed information about the Benghazi tragedy as it came in.

Some Republicans have suggested the administration initially wanted to avoid the idea that it had failed to prevent a terrorist attack, which might have dampened the president’s re-election chances on November 6. Obama has denied that implication.

Petraeus, a retired Army four-star general, slipped in and out of the closed sessions unseen by a swarm of media. Capitol police cleared journalists and others from hallways where the former CIA director might have been spotted.

‘BLAME IT ON US’

“You can blame it on us,” Senator Dianne Feinstein, Democratic chairwoman of the Senate intelligence committee, told reporters who complained about not even seeing Petraeus. “The general was both eager and willing to give us his views on this, and his experience on it, and that’s very much appreciated. … We didn’t want to make it any more difficult for him.”
Although he has left the CIA, Petraeus was asked to testify about Benghazi in part because he had gone to Libya before his resignation to interview people about what happened in Benghazi on September 11.

Lawmakers appeared to treat the question of Petraeus’ personal life with kid gloves. They said the questioning was sometimes awkward against the backdrop of the Broadwell scandal and because some of them have known Petraeus for years and think highly of his military service in which he ran the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

“I consider him a friend, which made the questioning tough, to be honest with you,” King told reporters.

“I’ve known him for nine years now. I actually asked him to run for president a few years ago,” he said.

Petraeus’ affair has raised questions about whether any classified information was divulged to Broadwell that would affect national security. So far, FBI investigators have not discovered anything to suggest that was the case, law enforcement sources said.

Democratic lawmakers emerging from the sessions with Petraeus said it was clear Rice had been speaking from talking points that were approved by the U.S. intelligence community when she discussed the Benghazi attack.

In five Sunday talk show appearances on September 16, Rice said the assault was prompted by an anti-Muslim video and then morphed into a more violent act. But she also told CBS’s “Face the Nation” that day that it was “clear that there were extremist elements that joined in and escalated the violence.”

“I don’t think she should be pilloried for this,” said Feinstein, who was carrying a copy of the talking points that were probably given to Rice and read them aloud to journalists.

“She did what I would have done, or anyone else would have done, that is going on a weekend show. You would have said, ‘What talking points can I use?'” Feinstein said. “It’s almost as if the intent is to assassinate the character.”

Senator Saxby Chambliss, the intelligence committee’s top Republican, told reporters the problem with Rice’s talk show appearances was that she did not stick with the talking points she was given on the Benghazi attack.

“She knew at that point in time that al Qaeda was very likely responsible in part or in whole for the death of Ambassador Stevens,” he said.

Some senior Republicans have vowed to block Rice’s potential nomination for secretary of state or another top Cabinet post because of her Benghazi comments. Rice is believed to be on Obama’s short list to replace Hillary Clinton, who has said she intends to leave her State Department job.

Petraeus tells Congress he believed terrorists behind Libya attack, doesn’t discuss affair
By Kimberly Dozier, The Associated Press | Associated Press – 6 hrs ago
WASHINGTON – A congressman says former CIA Director David Petraeus is telling lawmakers he believed all along that the deadly Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya was a terrorist attack.

Petraeus was testifying Friday behind closed doors for the congressional intelligence committees. It’s his first Capitol Hill appearance since resigning a week ago over an extramarital affair.

Republican Rep. Peter King tells reporters after the House hearing that Petraeus focused his remarks on Libya.

Lawmakers say Petraeus told them that CIA talking points written after the attack in Benghazi that killed four Americans referred to it as a terrorist attack. But Petraeus says that reference was removed by other federal agencies that made changes to the CIA’s draft.

The attack killed the U.S. ambassador.

O’Donnell: Petraeus’s real failing was ‘reckless judgements’
Clare Kim, @clarehkim
12:12 am on 11/17/2012

In Friday’s Rewrite segment, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell addressed misconceptions over the David Petraeus and Paula Broadwell affair. The issue isn’t power or sex, O’Donnell said: it’s about judgement.

He used the much-analyzed Clinton marriage to shape his argument.

“I think the Clinton marriage works. It works for them. And it does not include sexual exclusivity,” The Last Word host declared. Using the Clintons’ marriage or their understanding of the marriage as an example, O’Donnell delineated the dichotomy between marital fidelity and sexual exclusivity.

“Bill and Hillary Clinton are both smart enough and loyal enough to each other and love each other enough to realize that that sexual exclusivity deviation from the norm – which, by the way, actually is the norm in the real world – was never going to be a big enough problem to end their marriage, because they don’t define marital fidelity as simply sexual exclusivity.” He added, “the Clintons obviously judge marital fidelity to be something much bigger than that. And their judgement has been proven right, about their marriage, anyway.”

O’Donnell argued the lesson from the Petraeus scandal revolves around exhibiting good judgment, especially as a four-star general and CIA director when those roles rely so heavily on it.

“The 1950s spy novel notion that extra-marital sex somehow could make Petraeus subject to blackmail is utterly childish,” said O’Donnell. “His terrible judgment is not about the sex – it’s about the emails about the sex. General Petraeus engaged in risky behavior involving his email, and he did it with a person who engaged in even more risky behavior with her email.”

Broadwell allegedly sent threatening messages to a Tampa socialite, Jill Kelley, about General Petraeus, which led to the unraveling of the series of terrible judgments made by Petraeus. Petraeus’s second slip-up was to reportedly befriend military “groupies.”

Admittedly, Petraeus is not the first high-ranking general or CIA director to have an affair, but O’Donnell concluded that “a four-star general and CIA director who had the profoundly bad judgment to engage in the kind of affair that got wildly out of control and left hard-drives full of proof of the affair.” And that this scandal should be a useful window into Petraeus’s judgement, or “a series of very reckless judgements.”

Conservative group launches robocall campaign to impeach Obama
By ANI | ANI – 19 hrs ago

Washington, Nov. 15 (ANI): A conservative group in the US has launched a movement to impeach President Barack Obama, just days after he won a second term in the White House.

The Conservative Majority Fund, the group known primarily for its birther conspiracy spreading, has launched a robocall campaign to gain support for Obama’s impeachment.

“Our only recourse now is to move forward with the full impeachment of President Obama. We suspect that Obama is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors and that there may be grounds for impeachment as is laid out in the constitution,” the call, emailed to The Huffington Post by Shaun Dakin of StopPoliticalCalls.org, read.

“Further, he may not even be a U.S. citizen because nobody, I mean no one, has seen an actual physical copy of his birth certificate. Impeachment is our only option. And Republicans are already considering Obama investigations. As the nation’s most effective conservative group we are launching the official impeach Obama campaign,” it added.

According to the report, among the ‘misdemeanors’ they have cited are the president’s proposals to close the detention center at Guantanamo Bay, an idea supported by Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.), and to give ‘full amnesty’ to undocumented immigrants.

The group is casting a wide net with the calls. People in Washington, Colorado, New Jersey and Virginia have so far reported receiving the call. (ANI)
