Reality now sinking in

It has started.

In Coast, all leaders have expressed their support for the Rt Hon Prime Minister and told him to soldier on, that Balala is all by himself and his sour grapes count for nothing. They did this in a very cool manner. And the people are with Raila on this.

In Central Province, their people lost the most during the PEV and they never came out like Team Ruto. They have also come out and told the Rt Hon Prime Minister to Soldier on. Again, the people of Central are with Raila on this.

In Ukambani, The Grand Maestro, Hon Charity Ngilu has assured Raila of their support and in her usual style, taken offense with those who have consigned the Kambas to perpetual poverty. And she is gaining ground there. The people of this area are with Raila on this.

In Rift Valley, Hon Franklin Bett has seen the light and jumped ship. In his usual flip-floping manner, he has seen danger in associating with Team Ruto. He has poured his support with Raila. Besides, all the Maasai leaders have always been with Raila on this.

In Nyanza, Western and North Eastern Provinces, Kenyans are solidly behind Raila on the Mau issue.

In The Rift Valley and Nairobi, Raila is on top of things. And Many Kalenjin brothers and sisters are for Mau conservation. So who does Ruto and his 4 followers speak for?

So, where does this leave the 2 Rutos, Keter, Kutung and the other guy. They are only five vocal noise makers and true to the adage, the loudest noise come from empty tins.

They are only 5 MPs and they make all the loudest noise. Bring in the censure motion on Raila, kenyans are waiting.

BTW, do these 5 people read the papers?

    TO ALL,
Okiot, you cannot rig somebody who is already in the govt[kwani hata Raila unafikiri ni nani].

For Balala[the one who was sacked as mombasa mayor] his days are numbered unless he changes tact.

Franklin Bett, please show exactly your true colours so that we can consign you to you correct dustbin, otherwise tread carefully.

Henry kosgey tafadhali read the horoscope well, if you are not with The p.m your goose is cooked. We were making you clean because of your bad name halafu ukaanza mchezo. Mzee chunga.

And for those following Isaak, William, Kutuny, cheruiyot etc, etc[and doing so blindly] please remember Raila has seen alot when most of you were a few days old. You cannot match his moves/game. You cannot even answer to him as you were mr nobody until he picked you have thro’ ODM.

William, why have you grown cold on the no confidence motion?.You now pretend not to be aware of the nonsense while we are sure its your plan with Uhuru and Kalonzo [WIPA,WIPER,WAIPA just tag the most appropriate].

I simply pity the late comers like LABOSO and KONES for jumping into a ship they dont know the direction its sailing. Please be careful MAMAS, its too early to insult your BOSS.

I think it is high time Kenyans started looking at issues holistically and nationally.

The one who calls himself Okiot and his likes who equate individuals to tribes should be continuously discouraged and properly educated on positive and inclusive politics.

They should know that Raila is the PM of Kenya not for Luos, if he is rigged out or looses in 2012, it is not a loss to luos. If Kenya misses his political acumen and leadership mien, then his being rigged out would be a loss to Kenyans.

Sure, each of us come from a certain tribe and I am Jaluo Giwang’e, but just like my friends Kamau Wamugunda and Kosgey Tomno, Raila’s premiership does not directly multiply the number of plates of ugali on my dining table.

If I, Kamau and Tomno rise to take advantage of improved infrastructure, improved government services, increased investments, education opportunities, market for agricultural produce, better health care and all the good things that can come out of a serious government, due to sound premiership from Raila, then the three of us would gain.

If Ruto, Kalonzo or Uhuru think that Raila is the stumbling block to good governance and economic prosperity in Kenya, and they offer better leadership, no problem. If they convince me, Jaluo Giwang’e, I will vote for them. If they convince Kamau and Tomno and others, no problem.

However, relying on the past to predict the future, unless a miracle happens, there is no better leadership in Ruto, Kalonzo and Uhuru combined, whether they rig themselves into leadership or voters are blinded to vote them in.

If it happens that the combination gets into the country’ leadership, it would be a loss to each and every person in Kenya, including themselves and their children.

If you see that happens, kindly expect troubled times due to leadership in hands of a mafia group, and flee into a refugee camp in a neighbouring country. For many a Luo, you know that is not a tall order, due to geographical location. The Luos would be therefore, the lesser loosers.

WE SHOULD HONESTLY SEARCH OUR SOULS

We should honestly search our souls in pursuit of what can develop our country for the benefit of all and posterity. Raila Amolo Odinga is not Kenya. If what he stands for benefits Kenyans, then by all means, let us honestly see what he has done, instead of seeing how letters are arranged to form his name.

Can we deny the fact that there was a time that most of the leaders we have now could not pluck enough courage to ask for multipartism into which we are now swimming in, if it was not for the likes of Raila Amolo Odinga, Gitobu Imanyara, James Orengo, Paul Muite, Waruru Kanja, Peter Anyang’ Nyoing’o, to mention but a few?

Let us not dwell on personalities, but on ideas and ideologies, that can improve our lot. To discuss only one person, of all the people in Kenya, is not only unwise, but also more often than not, doing so builds the person we so love to hate.

    DR ODIDA OKUTHE.
