ODM IS THE PARTY OF THE DAY IN THE SOUTH RIFT DESPITE WELL ORCHESTRATED ANTI RAILA CAMPAIGN MOUNTED BY DISGRUNTLED KALENJIN MPS.

The Orange Democratic Movement [ODM} is still the most popular political movement in the South Rift, despite the well orchestrated anti-Raila Odinga campaign, mounted in the region, by disgruntled Kalenjin MPs.
A prominent Kericho politician, Mr.Nicholas Tum, has told the Kalenjin to control their emotions and to handle the volatile Mau Issue soberly, saying they should not allow themselves to be duped by those with overriding presidential ambitions.
Tum, who is a nominated Councilor in the Kericho Municipality, cautioned an unnamed politician from outside Rift Valley, whose family background and history is closely associated with massive land grabbing, not to underrate the intelligence of the Kalenjin community. The man, he added, is taking the advantage of the unfortunate Mau issue, shallowly thinking he could manipulate the community by way of using the sugar-coated heap of political slogans.
Tum further cautioned Kalenjin MPs to be cautious of those politicians from outside the Rift Valley who are out to exploit their emotions over Mau saga. He urged the legislators to be tolerant and to remain steadfastly in the ODM, which, he said is the party of the day, and the darling of the Kalenjin people.
The ordinary Kalenjin people and the electorate are firm behind the ODM. The people have told us that they are not ready to leave the ODM, or blindly follow any bunch of political prostitutes to any party’s whose agenda is not clear to the community.
The ODM had vision to usher in the necessary constitutional and law reforms in this country. We cannot therefore leave this party before our vision and objectives are achieved.
Tum, who was speaking during an exclusive interview with this writer at the posh Tea Hotel in Kericho Town, said those Kalenjin MPs who feel frustrated and uncomfortable with the ODM were free to quit the party and join any other party of their choice. But they should not try to rock the boat from within.
Heaping praise on the Prime Minister, Tum said Raila Odinga is well known as uncompromised champion of the poor, under-privileged and oppressed Kenyans. “The Prime Minister hails from a community which has no history of land grabbing ..At personal level, Raila Odinga’s name has never been tainted with the series of mega scandals, which have engulfed Kenya in the past. He therefore meant well for the Kalenjin people whom he loves genuinely.”, he said.
The politician singled out several Kalenjin MPs foir praise, sayting the legislators have steered clear of cheap-votes hunting, cheap politics, which is full of deceit.. He gave their names as Mrs Beatrice Kones {Bomet} Dr.Joyce Laboso {Sotik}, Magere Lang’at {Kipkellion}, DR sally KOSGEI {Aldai}, Henry Kosgey{Tinderet and Franklin Bett {Bret}. ”These are the genuine representative of the people, “ he added.. He has a special praise for the Nominated MP Musa Sirma, whom said has maintained firm stand and unswerving loyalty to the ODM.
Some of the Kalenjin MPs, he charged, have been dancing to the tune of leaders from other Provinces, who are only interested in harvesting Kalenjin votes for their selfish political ends. “The same politician and leaders from outside the region never raised objection to the manner of eviction of Mau Squatters, especially with their cabinet colleagues in the coalition government, but have come out fire=spitting with packs of lies pretending to be sympathetic to the community. And yet they are a lot of cheats and hypocrites”, he added.
He announced that he and other ODM party stalwarts are planning a series of public rallies in the South and north Rift to enlighten the public to be aware of those feeding them with packs of lies and empty propagandas.
“We have been assured by the electorate that some of the MPs are playing politics of the stomach {Tumbo}, and we wish them well and temporary success in their endeavor, but they should be rest assured that none of them will ever again see the inside of Chamber of Parliament come the year 2012.

I am reading this article, in disbelieve! But then I should not expect anything else other than what is obvious. Propaganda, of the highest class!
It amazes, and amuses at the same instance. Think about it, this author, states that; ” Raila and ODM are the cause celebre in Rift Valley! which Rift? I come from the Rift Valley. And the mood right now is that of a people, who are experiencing a pungent odour, when one mentions the PM.s name!
What is really saddening is the way in which people are feeding Raila with lies. Rather than people telling the truth, it is never to be. An orchestrated machine of lies is being created, so that Raila, will go on happy-go round thrashing the people, with the hope that no one says a thing.
The kind of amnesic minds that are now circulating this sorry tales of lies, the lies that should be arrested and brought to an end! I do wonder; may be, Leo Odera Omolo is in fact working to bring down the PM.! If Raila is fed with lies, eventually he would believe it and instead of changing the way he does things, he could leave it till he finds out that, all that he was being told was a pack of lies!
Who are the people who are informing this writer that all is well? Nominated men. Nicholas Tum, a councilor! a one from Kericho. Then the Nominated MP, Mr. Musa Sirma, from Eldama-Ravine. The people who were not even able to garner a winning vote for themselves! These are the men who go around deceiving the PM. Telling him the sweet things that the PM and many of his followers dream about. Popular intact ODM!
The scenario is far from the truth, people are mad as hell! and Raila and ODM are going no where!
The evicted people ( The Kalenjin ) do not care whether William Ruttoh grabbed Land, nor do they care if Kenyatta had stolen a land, as massive as the Province of Nyanza! What they mind is this,Who is the one sending them to the Roadside? It is Raila! That is what they know! Now for you to lie to the PM. telling him all is well is a great disservice, to Kenya. Well if you are planning to derail him, then it is understandable!
You stated that the ODM is the darling and the popular party of the ordinary Kalenjin, what is the ordinary according to you? Those people, thrown out of their homes are the ordinary Kalenjin, abused and mistreated. Their plight and suffering are mine and all of us, Kalenjin. Today is them and tomorrow it will be the rest of us!
In 2003, we ( All The Kalenjin ) were fired from Jobs, we went home quietly. Then in 2005 evictions began, Cherangany’ and Nandi-Hills. We were promised compensations and resettlement. Where is it? it is 2009 and another round of evictions are upon us again! Yet your so called popular Raila, the darling of our community, is sleeping in his palace, while we are in the open roadside, When he has been the one haunting us out of our homes and our lands! Is this the man we can really want to be the president?. There are 3000 people who were thrown out from Nandi Hills, why have 4 years elapsed when we are still homeless?
If he can show us this side of him, when he is nothing, what would he be like when he becomes the President?
Do not deceive Raila, tell him the truth! To say’ he is

Is an overpraise that even a silly person can never buy! If Raila fought to stop any one from helping the people whom he threw on the roadside, how can one ever say all these crap? If you love people, and genuinely, you do not render them homeless!
What is happening to Mau, Cherangany’ and Nandi-Hills, Kalenjin is oppression!
Mr. Ruto is not beholden to any one, and as such you can not compare him to Mr. Sirma. Mr Sirma is Raila’s parrot, that is why Raila appointed him. Ruto was elected by the People, and therefore he serves them-the people. Sirma must sing his master’s tune. And that master is Raila!
Before Mr. Tum and Sirma talk about those fighting for our people-not seeing the inside of parliament, they should find a way for themselves to get in there first!.
There have been lots of misleading articles posted on this web, that are-but propaganda, geared into deceiving the PM. What I can say is, it would be wise if the PM. was told the truth!
In this instance, this article that I have responded to is of the same category, deceit!

Sirma and that councillor are lying to that Kibera MP, he’ll realize he isn’t in the government by next year or soon.
Raila ain’t going anywhere ( needs to go back to Nyanza and plant trees there,.)
