The Bible tells us that do not put your trust and faith in fellow man but God the Almighty.

Kenyans had too much faith in Dr. Willy Mutunga to an extent where for the first time in the history of the Judiciary the world over, Dr. Mutunga made history as the first Chief Justice to be appointed by the populace directly when the country rejected the person that had been appointed by President Kibaki.

What did the people get back in return for their act of magnamity and grace; a kick on the ass from Dr. Mutunga. Waswahili walisema asante ya punda ni mateke (Swahili people said that a donkey’s “Thank You” is a kick!). That is what Kenyans got from Dr. Mutunga after putting him to the office of the Chief Justice of the Banana Republic of Kenya.
